CSX rescues Amtrak Auto Train 52 after striking a vehicle

Its been a rough few days for Amtrak. The autotrain was no exception. Over 12 hours late. Shot in Kenly, North Carolina.

One AT trip, we had an engine fail and CSX provided a loaner so we could get to FL.

yea good catches catching the catching this CSX rescuing the auto train after having a it hit a broken down truck

Look like 816 dead in tow ran cord around for back engine for power

Yup. Looks like the cord runs directly to 814. I wonder what vehicle the lead engine struck. Has some damage pretty high up on its nose.
