Them 80's Self locking trailer doors are awesome.😘👌
That was the worst possible ending they could've done, like Garth would've just drove past Kitt off the cliff, it was very disappointing and a sad sequel to the first 1.
I was expecting it to cut to a kid making the play sounds. His toy truck on the floor, a toy car on the bed with two action figures: "Tyler" "Yeah mom?" "Time for dinner. I made your favorite." "Coming. Hold on a sec. 'You and kit may have won this time, but Ill be back. Ehehehe."
If you like watching clips from Knight Rider, you should check out the Knight Rider Historians channel. We own two of the original KITT cars and the FLAG semi tractor-trailer! Plus we reveal what happened behind the scenes of your favorite show! Check it out.
Did any of the miniatures survive the making of the show, and if so do you have them in your collection?
@@davidgruber6143 Yes, nearly all of the miniatures survived. We did a video on one on our channel a while back, check it out.
@@KnightRiderHistoriansOfficial Thanks! Will do!
Goliaths roars are terrifying
How I wish the scoring for "Goilath Returns" was available as isolated mp3 tracks, especially 3:18.
As long as the final roar from Goliath is included!
That grappling hook! They weren’t even trying. “Yeah, that’s good enough, time for lunch.”
I always wished they had found K.A.R.R.'s CPU and put THAT into Goliath! Would've made an interesting part of the series!
Or have K.A.R.R. return as a more weaponized version of K.I.T.T. While goliath becomes it's mobile command center.
@@George-Hawthorne That works too! It'd be a mirror of K.I.T.T.'s setup.
@@lego4virgo Imagin the destruction Goliath would wreak if it was a haul truck like a Terex Titan.
@@George-Hawthorne DUUUDE! I imagined that in my mind when I saw your comment! K.I.T.T. would probably 'nope' on out of there: "Sorry Michael, but self-preservation comes first. Have you SEEN the SIZE of that thing?!!?!?!"
@@lego4virgo Also instead of a razor sharp grill it could have a bulldozer blade in the front.
with the blasting speed that KITT was approaching the cliff it's sure a lucky thing they got that grappling hook!
Love the roar as Goliath sink
This bring back so many childhood memories 😢those were good times watching knight rider and A team
If the knight rider historians come to this cliff, maybe they can retrieve Goliath 😂😂
Funny, but in all seriousness I'm pretty sure that scene was done in miniature.
@@StormsparkPegasus probably...but a lot of people are wanting to find Goliath for real. It's amazing Joe has finally got the original truck and trailer AND two screen used KITTS. I would love to see what else could turn up as original screen used vehicles and props.
@@showcasecharlie11 Yeah...I've seen their videos on Goliath and they have NO leads. Of course, they had no leads on the FLAG semi either until they found it (the tractor and trailer being found thousands of miles apart).
@@showcasecharlie11 from what Knight rider Historians found, they think the original Goliath tractor was reused again later on, without the large grill and a different paint job. The trailer was said to have been used in something else.
@@procta2343 I think you missed the joke 🤣
It's just your typical David (Hasselhoff) and Goliath story. A sling (well, grappling hook) saves David, and Goliath falls...
😁
If Garthe hadn't gone over the edge before, he sure did this time! LOL
At least it ended for real, no cliffhangers
@@baritonebroker nice pun 👌 🤣
How many of you like the sound of K.I.T.T. driving past you around 2:00-2:03, for example?...
Goliaths 5th wheel was a bit weak 😆
Love the dinosaur noise as the truck is drowning 😂
Imagine if someone had salvaged Goliath and was able to get ahold of K.A.R.R.'s components and combined them.
You mean the parts the KNIGHT foundation left on the beach of their protype automated roving robot? If I had a protype armoured rogue AI, that tried to kill people, I’d definitely leave the parts on the beach for anyone to find.
G.O.K A.R.R. doesn't quite sound as intimidating .
That's only one step away from creating Optimus Prime.
So those tiny rocks can hold a car and a truck drove over a cable🤣🤣
Garthe isn't smart enough to figure what Michael is doing behind the truck, despite it being very obvious that even Adrienne knows. That wailing sound kind reminds of something similar when Cameron would kill off the T1000 at the end of T2, which would come a whole 7 years after this episode.
It's worth seeing a film called 'Duel', then, as the same groaning roar of a truck coming to it's end happens in that, at least ten years earlier.
Luv how Goliath growls!
That was extremely considerate of Michael to close and lock the door back after rescuing the doctor.
I second that. 🙂
The truck screaming at end 😆
It always bothered me how they executed dodging Goliath. It looked like KITT turned roughly 90 degrees to juke Goliath, but Goliath just misses them going over the cliff(??).
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that
Adrianne took the steering wheel from Garthe to save Michael.
@@redfirefox3568 I thought she was trying to save herself from going over 🤷🏾♂️
@@wudaddy It looked liked it but it was bad film editing so you couldn't tell what actually happened.
Omg!!! Cant believe i was hooked to this series back in the day!! 🤣🤣🤦🏼♂️
There’s no way those rocks. That car from going off the edge😅
3:21 they used that soundeffect in Jaws 4 as well. And in Spongebob
I expected Goliath to explode and that really wouldve been the end of goliath
I love the dinosaur roar the truck makes while sinking.
🤔 Shouldn't the Foundation have dragged the ocean bed to retrieve Goliath and Garth?
As much as I loved this show, as an organization the Knight Foundation constantly left stuff behind that needed to be collected. Like the two times K.I.T.T. fought K.A.R.R. Go get the parts, man, before some evil genius puts them back together again🤷♂️
Yes and as you can see in this scene there was no explosion, and remember Goliath also had the protective shell so there would still be room for a sequel
@@resetsetmefree478Put KARR’s AI into Goliath’s body. Mayhem ensues…
@@robertbusek30 the closest there was to that was the Junkyard Dog episode which ran just a few weeks after KITT vs KARR. I still think Acid John hired Marco Berio to install Karrs AI into the huge forklift cuz you don't get to see who if anybody is driving that thing.....
nice to know they made full good use of Knight Rider model kits.
3:28 It's a Long story! 👍😁
1:29 how did Mr. Bergstrom, Michael, or KITT close those trailer doors nicely?
Imagine this with today's CGI, they could've done quite a bit more with this scene!
- an open door and the woman leaping from the side of the truck, falling back due to wind resistance, close-up of her taking a deep breath and pulling into the 'cannonball' position... could have been the best stunt ever.
looks like they took a optimus prime transformer toy from the 80s and painted it all gray for that fall off the cliff LOL
