Glad to see Mia Kirshner back. I missed seeing her after such a long time. Amazing movie and I'm hope she does more movies, whether it be Hallmark or mainstream. So underrated and beautiful.
I completely agree with Mia that animals often come into our lives to be our teachers. They give all of themselves to their human companions.
Loved her back in the day in The Crow 2.......and she's aged wonderfully.
Love, lights, Hanukkah is such a wonderful movie and I love it.
Not only that but it's one of my top favorite Hallmark movies of all times. As soon as it's released onto dvd, I will be buying it.

Loved Mia in L Word. It's a shame she never really was in top shows or films after that.
I'm cringing over the part where she shows off her "menorah"...because, even *I* (ethnically and culturally Jewish, but not at all religious) know that was a standard, vintage candelabra, *not* a menorah (aka "hanukkiah")! The one she has is a six candle (plus the center candle); a menorah/hanukkiah has *eight* candles (plus the center candle--the shamash--that is used to light the others). *Eight* days of Hanukkah, *eight* candles...you light one more each night, and on the last day _all_ are lit. I can't believe she made that mistake.
I'm afraid of her because of 24.
