I love the HR-V Jazz chassis and Civic underpinnings damn.

Its an excellent drive, but the early deliveries from Mexico are poorly assembled. My doors don't shut easily and the wiper arms don't really fit the front window shape (they press too tightly and crush the wiper blade - as did my Civic before). Rattles from day one didn't help either, nor did the infotainment system still being set in Mexico mode - the bluetooth needed re-setting every time I got in the car until the garage took 90 minutes to reset the system.
The upside, I managed 72mpg on the M6 from Stoke to Lancaster last week and its really comfortable even for my dodgy hip and back

Im sorry Honda but I can't buy a car that is build in Mexico, still waiting for new Cr-v that will be made in Canada.

+I_noSc0pedJFK You dont know me and you calling me a racist! That is really low. What is going on in the world right now? The people becoming brain washed or damaged, war is needed to clean up this mess.

+Haris Mak Well that sounds racist to me, because what's the problem with that car that build in Mexico? The factory is in Mexico because is more cheaper but the only thing that build those cars are machines, not humans, i mean it doesn't matter matter at all, also sorry for my english, is not my first lenguage!

2 weeks late...in my view, he's not racist, he's protectionist. He wants the manufacturing jobs to stay in Canada and not go to Mexico. Doesn't matter what ethnicities are in the Mexican plant. Fat chance, Canadian unions are making factory wages super high.

lol design in Mexico. not assemble there but what to do cant blame you. I wouldnt want to buy a car made from a country that hardly can stand on its own.

It is kind of expensive for what it is, a Mazda CX-3 seems like a better car.

+doctormac123 I agree - the Mazda drives better, is much quieter, and as you say, it's cheaper by some margin. Personally, I think the CX-3 is better looking, too. Where the Honda wins is in terms of practicality - there are some estate cars that don't offer the same load space as the HR-V.

Yes its practical but it is quite boring in comparison to the Mazda, and you can't get AWD.
