    That section at 3:25 is hypnotic. Beautiful playing and a savory tone through that wonderful little amp! Wish I could have been in the room when that was happening.

    Its crazy how much Stochelo through this rig sounds like those 50's Django records.

    Django was the first distortion man, he knew ecactly the consquence of the tube saturation. A tru genius!

    "good" in tone is not a right or wrong question. People who think that are invariably not artists, not creators but followers who participate in music as a contact sport to see who can most closely duplicate someone else.
    Would Django have prefered a JC120 if he had one available? I don't know, however I do know that I greatly enjoy the polyphony associated with ultra vintage amps and regularly choose to play through them... and I have plenty of others to choose from.

    @carthagepropaganda hmmm a matter of taste maybe. to me its downright AWESOME ! Of course there's no Reverb or Chorus included but you can play it with out saturation if you dont like, and it's incredibly warm.
