Man, I have a 2014 900 2seater. I’m having the was having same issue of ignition on, power to the front, not to the starter. Replaced the silonoid (misspelled) nothing. Checked the 3 30 amp fuse box by the drive shaft. Replaced those, nothing The wiring under the passenger seat (3 yellow thermal wires from the engine, opposite of the starter) they were burned through. So i direct wired it and it cranked like new. Tan for about 2 weeks (4-5 hours) and back to square one. This time I checked the fuse box first. I pull the chassis relay and the thing cranked without the break being depressed. I wonder if that is the same thing. The break sensor is out so that relay that controls that when removed it starts. I’m gonna try your buddy’s idea of the paper clips. I have never been good with electrical. So these videos help a ton. I will never sell that 900. Ince a year I go drive the new Polaris 1000’s coming out and this 900 seems like more raw power and it’s been paid off (bought from a friend with cash) since I bought in 2018. But she is getting old now so TLC time.
You can by pass this .It is a safety feature to prevent ehgine to start without brake being applied.Just remember to always depress brake pedal prior to starting engine.Cut the wires from connector and splice them togather.Give it a try.good luck . HW
I have the same problem. Battery good, changed the starter, changed the starter solenoid, changed the brake pressure switch. Nothing has fixed it. Still has a hard time starting.
Hey Ryan, we have the same exact model and mine isn’t starting just making a clicking noise. It’s battery is fully charged and I have no idea how to fix it. Any advice?
My gauge, headlights and taillights are not working and will not try to start. Did you have the same issue or were your headlights and gauge not affected
Thanks, you save me a lot of time and money at the dealership! Thanks again!

Good video. It started
Did the master cylinder switch fix it?
How did your buddy put the paper clip in and what exactly did he connect it to
Sorry for the late response... I'm not a big utube guy. He put the paper clip in there to act as a conductor between the two pieces.

did it work after you ordered the part and what was the name of the part?
Yeah it worked. I don't recall the part name.
