Great video....
I used to do programming in VB creating windows applications.... PHP & MySQL... Even created a social network...
So yes, AI has an advantage of being fast but software engineering projects require complex and sophisticated ways to build code that AI can't just come up with... At least not for the next 15 years in my estimation.
Se salang you're cute! 😅
Not me being in my first year of Computer science and people start asking whether coding and being a software engineer is still worth it😢😢😢😢😢😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The great thing about computer science is that you don’t have to be a developer only, you can do lots more 🙂
The need for people with comp sci skills isn't going anywhere anytime soon. There's a lot of hype from non-technical people or those outside the industry. For those inside, the limitations of LLMs are obvious.
As for Devin specifically, it doesn't actually exist outside of marketing materials to attract investors.
Skills you learn in Computer Science will still be relevant in 30+ years from now. And remember it isn’t just coding. There’s many different opportunities you open yourself to through Computer Science.
Happy international girls(womens) in ICT day,
AI will not replace engineers,
