For an expert, he has little to no information.
Well, it just happened hours ago…so….🙄
He doesn't want to admit that the military training helicopter is to blame.
Why would he have Information when it hasn’t been released. Another Ken😊
@@smacloopy4029 Perhaps he’s waiting for the definitive ruling…and perhaps he’s being RESPECTFUL to the families of those dead. But we don’t expect morons to understand that concept.
@ Because everyone else had information that he didn’t have and where it was being heavily reported on. Did he talk about Regan approach for both runways? Did he talk about Auto-GCA or ACAS and at what point it would have warned either pilot? How high off the ground do the systems operate and perform what task? Did he discuss the shorter runway and its attack? I heard ATC ask the helicopter pilot if he had traffic in sight but was the air traffic controllers look at radar or on visual. Did he have the correct separation? Did he mention the helicopter type (Sikorsky H-60 helicopter)? Did the commuter aircraft (PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ701) have any previous issues that could have played a part in the crash? I could go down the list of things the guy could have talked about without knowing all of the details. Anyway, it’s a horrible crash and my sympathy goes out to the families of the victims.
Helicopter flew right into an aircraft that was in a landing approach to the runway. They should have never been that close together regardless. Human error.
Putin testing Trumps loyalty. Putin ordered Russian defectors dead. Skaters were Russian defectors.
Hold up. The military was NOT training. The three onboard were top military officer pilots. This so called expert is too coward to say who was at fault. The blackhawk was in commercial airspace. Period. Blsckhawks routinely going about the river pattern does not take presidence over commercial airspace. Period. The blackhawk was NOT training, no soldiers were on board, thats nonsense. The blackhawk is at fault. Period.
The only thing "animated" about this report is the so called "expert".
He appears to know shit from shinola.
Praying for the families!
Sincere condolences for the victims and their families.
DCA had 2 near misses in 2024, and many commenters were blaming DEI because the controllers voice sounded black in one instance, and was a female in the other.
How about now?
- Signed, Ground Controller, Flight Dispatcher and IFR Pilot.
Save your “expert” opinion we need experts to prevent these tragedies
This guy is not an expert. He is just spewing BS
Of course not, Trump fired the experts, so he doesn’t have to hear he is always wrong.
Yes where is the information?!
I was wondering what the hell are these unhinged comments about conspiracies and armchair aviation experts but realized these are Fox viewers lol
This was no accident. It's very suspicious. It's amazing the precision it took to get the wreckage to fall into the Potomac so as not to injure anyone on the ground. That plane was easily visible to the heli and the collision could have been easily avoided. Someone on that heli was on a suicide mission to kill someone on that plane.
America experiencing a deth by thousands cuts
they are not blaming black pilots are they?
Helicopters crash all the time. They are not safe enough.
The helicopter crew & air traffic control are @ fault. Truly heartbreaking. RIP to the victims 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
He didn’t explain anything
I do not believe it was accident.
I have no idea what this guy was saying. That being said this is very bizarre with all the technology there is in those towers and aircraft that a helicopter would fly directly into a passenger plane.. what happened ??
From all the available information at this time, it appears the military helicopter couldn't see the plane right in front of them due to light pollution, the fact that there would have appeared to be no movement from their angle of perspective, and potentially could have had worsened visibility due to night vision distortion. The tower saw the collision warning, asked if they had visual to maintain appropriate distance called "visual separation" and blackhawk confirmed. Unfortunately, tower and blackhawk pilot were unaware they were watching 2 different planes. The next comms are tower calling a crash alert. Hopefully the military will reevaluate utilizing this particularly busy pedestrian area for practice. Perhaps particular unmistakable lighting patterns on the sides of planes would help. My deepest condolences for the victims and their loved ones. Deepest gratitude to all of the divers and first responders. Absolutely tragic.
Yeah this is what happned but also possible the chopper was a little too high the plane maybe even a little too low. one thing to keep in mind military is not gona change they love with risk. So better to fly out of non military area airport. The korean airline also maybe doesnt blow up of its not a militsry shared airport they may have dedigned different
People really expect this guy or anyone else to put a blame on someone right now is pretty stupid……some of these comments..smh.
He's useless guest who seems to be speaking for all the airlines and airline industry and wants to keep everyone happy
What was military helicopter doing there? There was absolutely no need of it near the civil airports .
Ummmm….you do realize that the Potomac runs directly through DC, don’t you? Waterways are vulnerable to breech and threats. They are there ALL THE TIME.
...Do you not realize where Reagan Intl. Airport is located?
Seriously? Take some time...
Another aviation expert in Britain states that the helicopter was training in COVERT operations, with several types of equipment switched off. Equipment that should NEVER have been turned off anywhere near an airport!
A thorough investogation in needed.
