Quasar cannon absolutely broke the bots greatest strength. They are so dependent on their dropships to do nearly anything, and the Quasar Cannon just knocks those things out of the air with a single shot to the engine. You can either prevent bot deployments entirely or crush them under a falling dropship with a trivial amount of effort. And then people started poking around with other heavies and found that EATS and Recoilless accomplish that as well with an equivalent amount of ease, so AH would have to nerf High Explosive weapons in general to stop that. I swear, civvie extract vs bots has never been easier. We have learned their greatest weakness Helldivers. Crush them.
Eh, plenty of times the bots live through a crash. Regular bots die, devastators of all types live though they might be trapped, and anything heavier just walks right out like nothing happened. It’s balanced
I hope the guard dog get random name everytime it used. Like when it kill or do shooting for some time, the helldivers will say something like "good boy!", "show them who's the best!", "bite them neck!" or someting. It would be very great tho.

The best part about helldivers 2 is that the devs probably got a lot of stuff ready that the playerbase has yet to see simply because they autisticly keep winning the major orders. They absolutely have city maps, they had to have them ready if the players sucked and the war reached super earth/the core systems. The autocannon mech? Was probably set to be released as the players got pushed back further to bolster their effectiveness. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff being left on the shelf, kept for later or being repurposed later down the line.
I think ideal built for bugs is just rover for trash, a medium penetration primary, and quasar or EAT for heavies. Cluster bomb for giant swarms or area denial, and orbital laser for emergencies.

I'd personally take medium penetration weapons, rover, quasar, napalm and gas strikes. Easier to get through strategem d-pad and the area damage does stack. Just gotta make sure you always keep some distance
Orbital laser is pretty bad against bugs, you should be using to clear large hordes, it takes way too long to kill a bile titan or even a charger. And if ur using it to kill heavies just use the orbital railcannon

It's because fire DoT is too high, you burn to death unless you basically have near-instantons reaction and can either dive (which puts it out) or pop a stim (which outheals the DoT) within 1 second of being set on fire, add in the huge spray of the Breaker Incendiary and the general lack of trigger discipline, you'll often have players shooting it in your direction not caring about the spread

Honestly Im very glad they added more ship upgrades , they did that for people like me who like ran out of things to spend super creds on AGES ago and now my samples bank on the SES Emperor of dawn aren't constantly full

I hope they add more bug types to the game, they’ve focused a lot more on the automatons lately and I want to see what the equivalent to all the big stuff the automatons got for the bugs! Like maybe a giant worm bug (possibly the dead ones we see lying around 👀) that you need to draw out of the ground in order to do damage! That would be so cool!
I love the new defense mission I just wish I could actually play it. I’m fine with having it only be on defense campaigns so there’s some difference between attacking and defending planets. But if they're going to lock it do defense campaigns there need to be more of them because I couldn’t play the new mission at all last weekend and I guess I missed the defense ones this week because there’s not any available now either.
All i am hoping is they dont remove any of thier battle passes. I am poor so being able to get these through grinding without a time limit is a god send. I can adtually enjoy the game while trying to obtain stuff.
I would love if they just added an old fashioned, completely outdated for the setting, rusty shotgun that kicks like a donkey with recoil but also sends enemies to the shadow realm with buckshot.

10:06 your teammate T3 shot the charger with Eruptor, for some reason it's explosions push you towards the blast point instead of throwing back, could've tried to dive out of charger's swipe but yeah, backseat gaming. Some other explosive weapons have this same issue, but not all of them.

You can dive to put yourself out when you catch fire. I fact you can also dive as soon as a flame hulk fire at you so you don’t get one tapped.

Quasar can easily 1-shot chargers to the dome, but Bile Titans need 2 headshots (unless damaged by something else).

Heavy Machine is better on a lower rpm for grunt enemy's so you don't burn through ammo
