Thanks for an excellent review. Together, you gave me a good feel for the best and worst of this game. I'm a board game player who used to play video games. I've played several of the classic old-style video games in this category, including Rogue 3.6 that came with Unix in 1981, Hack, Nethack and Larn. I've looked at reviews of many bardgame roguelikes. I think it's hard to make a roguelike board game that can hold people's interest for long. This game looks like the best try I have seen, so I'm thinking about buying it.
