- Hi there! In this video I will show you how I made my own case for modular synthesizer. I made a case out of plywood, painted it with watercolors and also coated it with linseed oil. Thanks to this, I have achieved a unique design. Hope you enjoy the video. Subscribe to my channel to watch all new videos.

GREAT!!!
Very nice build.....I'm inspired to do my own - thanks!
✌️🦆👍
I hate construction noise when i'm at home, your video with that smooth background sound is so Fk*ng pleasant, i will watch it all non skipping a second. :p
😁😁😁
Nice work!
Thanks! ✌️🔥🦆
Great vid
Thanks bro 🦆👍🚀
Where did you get the black eurorack hardware?
Awesome video! I was wondering if there is a name for the hardware you spraypainted black? I've been looking for similar hardware to build a case and wasn't sure where to get the corner pieces, brackets and hinge thing.
Hi 👋 Almost all of furniture for the box was from Adam Hall 👍 I bought it on Thomann. There was no black colour so I decided to paint it by myself 😁
Wow, really great! - I'm currently building a big case (12Ux104HP) and was coming across your video while checking if I missed some great ideas.
Mine is not build with miters and instead just doweled together, which I'm totally fine with. Sadly, I indeed missed a really good idea where you cut the wooden box in two parts instead of building the lid on its own...
Of course, some slight off measurements make that part hell for me now.
Overall a nice video, a fine build and a charming visual outcome.
Thank you very much for watching! For me it was a difficult project (since I am not a professional in woodworking), but a very interesting project on which I spent a lot of time. I'm very glad if my video helped with some technical things. I hope you can make a great case. ⭐️✌️👍
@@duckthesystem I‘m of course not a pro either but I often build stuff around my studio out of wood, which at least all has the same vibe (if nothing else). Your video inspired me especially because of that cut-in-half. It never came to my mind honestly 😃
Mine is ready now and will get powered tomorrow. In my version, I used some old 4HP-blanks as additional stabilization: mounted them as „inner lips“ to my lid which now cannot go sideways before even closing the hooks - so my modules‘ knobs are a bit safer.
Thanks for an inspiring video. Where did you get the rails (for the eurorackmodules) from? Do they come in a complete kit? Heading down to the garage as we speak ;-).
Hi 🤚 Thank you for watching 👍 These are TipTop Z-Rails 84 hp. You can buy them like complete kit with power or separately ✌️
Great video, what did you paint onto the case before the paint? What kind of paint did you use, looked like a water based paint to my eyes, was it mixed with something other than water? Also if I may have a 3rd question what was the Bosch power tool you were using?
Thanks for watching ✌️I only painted the case with watercolors and then covered it with linseed oil. For cutting plywood, I used Bosch circular saw Bosch GKS 12V-26. And to install the fittings, I used a screwdriver Bosch GSR 12V-15. These are very small and easy to use tools. ⭐️🦆👍
