I almost ripped my 86 coupe in half. It separated the floorpan on the drivers side from the front fender all the way to the rear seat & ripped the floorpan across to the trans tunnel. It was a stock bottom end with ported e7's, anderson "big" cam, port matched rpm air gap & 650 demon carb. It went 790s on regular radial tires, best of 773 at 88 mph with a 1.70 60ft. Had 4 cyl springs all the way around with koni adjustable 90/10 struts & 50/50 shocks. Had cheap mac control arms on the rear with a pinion snubber & an airbag in the right rear. Car hooked hard on the street & was a blast. Sokd it to wayne fox & he fixed it, put a cage & everything in it with a big windsor & nitrous. Last i saw it he was racing cheap street at Knoxville dragway, going 5.50s.
Hey man my wife’s family is from Rogersville ,I will be there for Heritage Days and would love to meet and talk to you about your car , I also have a fox body , last name are Quillen seeing if you know anyone
It must be producing five or more if it's twisting the body cancel my experience in foxbody they'll hold up 500 horsepower before they start twisting the body
Depends. Hooking 400 on a prepped surface on slicks, after so many times, it will twist the body up. 700 on a street tire messing aroumd here and there wont hurt it as much.
@@Hammerback0 yeah I had a 92 Fox body I run down here at the street fights back in the early 2000s I put a 350 shot of nitrous on a built 351 w on 28 M 2nd Time hooked real good I got stuck in the car neither door would open the back window was popped out of the seal and the windshield was busted
I am, would like to use the TFS R170 for a good street 302 or 289. Mild xr288 decent compression and methanol 50 gallon tank on street. probably pretty mild with 5 speed. Could it work for a daily driver road warrior? Manual dual master and steering.

I ripped my floor from door to door behind the seats on slicks and 150 shot of nitrous running 11.91@109 the doors never closed right again.
IT WILL MOST DEFINITELY MAKE A 4 EYE LOOK GREAT IN IT THAT'S WHAT IT'LL DO. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN AND RUN FORD POWERED FOX BODIES.
Def will stay tuned on this build.

Less than 400 will tweak a T top car on street tires.

not as much as a stock bottom end 4.8 with a cam and carb.
Put a set of 289 heads on it and get more !!!
I have this setup on my car. Works well
