The Miata is my "reality" dream car. And a Lotus is my, "In my dreams car". I've owned one of each. Both share one commonality, they connect you to the road like none other. My 72 Lotus Europa JPS connected me to the road as if I was one with the car better than any car...EVER. The NEXT best at that was my 96 Mazda Miata. And it was close. The Miata still continues this fabulous tradition at a somewhat affordable price. Lotus cars are approaching exotics in price. It especially bothers me when people say these cars (miatas, BRZ, 86, etc) are too slow for a simple reason. They're affordable and handle great specifically because of the power range they're sold in. If they were 400 horsepower like people want them to be, they'd be completely cost prohibitive. I get tired of hearing dudes who make $27,000 a year bitch about how the BRZ is too slow, and they'd totally buy one if it was faster, while remaining totally oblivious to the fact that if it were faster, they wouldn't be ABLE to buy one, because it'd be coming in at a much higher price point. Had a guy argue with me that subaru could just put the STI engine in the new BRZ and it would cost nothing, not realizing it would need a complete revamp to do that with much more expensive components, and then it would come in at the 50k price point or higher, in which there are more popular options for cars in that power range. They swear up and down they'd buy it but they drive a beater. These cars single handedly keep motorsport popular and attainable. They don't need more power. They need to remain a cost effective choice for getting into being a car enthusiast and motorsport. There's only like 3 cars that are RWD, manual, and great handling that are at the price point today, but there's TONS of choices for cars at the power point they want it to be. it's like having an affordable sports car isn't enough for them. It has to be exclusive enough to price them out for them to appreciate it. So frustrating. I want to grab them and yell in their face "Just enjoy having a car you could realistically get that isn't a damned economy car with a CVT!". Funnily enough, most of the people I know who -do- have the money to afford faster cars don't complain, because they're willing to make these cars faster to their liking with modification. It's mostly the people who wouldn't be buying them if they were faster doing the complaining.
I drove an Esprit S1 for about a week in the late 80s. Holy MacChrist I can still recall practically every gearshift. Godly. The Europa was something of a dream car for me when I was a kid, you lucky dude (if dude you be)👍
@@wetwaredistributor6770 I know what you’re talking about. I’m truly impressed by how much some people, who I believe are real car enthusiasts, know about a vast array of sports cars and how strong their opinions are. Especially when, sometimes, they’ve never even driven the car, never mind raced or owned it. I guess it’s not too different than the people I know who will forcefully debate about professional athletes and coaches who have never played that sport - ever. I frequently have guys getting started with sports cars ask me what they should buy. I point out to them that when I recently went shopping for a new car, I had $200,000 cash budgeted. I usually drive something that I can track. I considered lots of options. They are often surprised that I purchased a new Stinger GT2 and a new ND2 GT RF that I modified. And the RF is usually my daily. The total was under $100,000. Spending another 100,000 would not have gotten my much closer to automotive bliss. I seriously considered a Boxster and/or Cayman, and I’m sure I would be happy with those, too. But as you were pointing out, it is MUCh less fun to play around with a sports car that a simple spin in the grass could easily cost you $10,000 (or more). I know. And Porsche’s warranty, like several other “sports” car companies that I shopped, specifically states that tracking the vehicle can void the warranty. When I double checked that issue with Mazda, the dealership manager laughed out loud, and said, “Uh, that’s what this car was made for.” He said, “If the car has been poorly re-tuned, that could be an issue. But between you and me, if you re-set it to factory before you bring it in…we’d have a tough time proving that was the issue.” In short, expensive complicated sports cars make life more expensive and more complicated. Not a great formula for having fun.
@@kgm5330 exactly! and that's why I drive and occasionally track an nb2 and a fiat 500 abarth. They're cheap enough that I wouldn't be destroyed if I crashed them. They're cheap to modify (the miata is, anyway). They're endless fun. Had I bought something more expensive, I wouldn't feel alright with doing stuff like that with them. I'm planning to hopefully buy an ND eventually, too.
I love the final take, "...if everything else goes electric..." It really fits what's happening right now. My fiance just bought a Volvo C40 Recharge and I treated myself to a Mazda MX-5 2.0 manual Softtop 2022 (in soul red crystal of course!). Sadly both cars are due after summer, since things are as they are in the world... This is a great review, I love the camera-work! Keep cheering!
Like literally, I'm sitting here smiling as you're reviewing this gem. I owned a 97' and that thing was just fantastic. The nostalgia of it all as I watch you almost makes me want another one. Got me thinking....
I just picked up one of these. So much fun to drive. I highly recommend it as relatively inexpensive convertible fun. This from a guy with several Porsches including a 718 Spyder. Love my Miata soft top manual.
My ‘21 RF Club BBS, Brembo, Recaro is my 6th MX-5 since 2001. Nothing brings more pure driving enjoyment, including the Uber high tech and horsepower monsters.
I have a 2019 hardtop convertible and really love it! I have had it only two weeks and am lusting for warm weather! I have been able to put the top down briefly on two days, and it is such fun. Parked next to a Mini-cooper, I had to look up to see it.
Fun fact about the handbrake placement, RHD has it closer to driver, meaning it's the same layout. Controller knob then ends up being further away from RHD. Both of these mean RHD has better ergonomics. Makes sense to play favorites to the home country.
ND2 Sport trim Soft Top owner here I daily drive this vehicle and enjoy every seconds 😄😄😄 Quoting Jason from Hegarty, Capability is not equal to Joy , and this vehicle obviously is not as fast as other sports car but no doubt very fun to play with
Last year, I bought a 2018 ND RF, and I didn’t think it was possible to fall in love with a car, how wrong I was. The more I drive it, the more I love it.
I am going to a mazda dealer to see if it ha a usedone. I love the 2.0 rf with 184hp here in Italy. Still in doubt for soul red or machine grey. I love this car
Coming from my 3 mazda Rx8's I just got a 22 Club RF Manual trading in my 21 Mazda 3 2.5T sedan. The 3 was pretty much a straight daily driver, didnt corner at all, didnt brake well, needed the aero package for 70mph+(I did try). The miata far exceeds the 3 in every performance category other than raw power. The miata still has the old electronics package, however my 22 RF has android auto which is more than what anyone needs. If you are over 220lbs you may want to try sitting in the recaro's before buying, the bolsters seemed to bother me at first but only for the first two days of driving. Compared to my Rx8s the miata goes toe to toe for acceleration. The Rx8 has next to no drama cornering, drifting, high speeds 100+. Even with the lip kit in the miata I wouldn't want to go over 100+ unless you know the ground conditions well. Cornering you quickly learn why people complain about body roll, not that I see it as an issue. The miata is setup to teach you good driving practices where you learn to control the weight of the body to either brake into corners or out of corners. I definitely shit my pants the first time I upset the balance of the car mid corner, however the car did not lose traction, after driving a fully poly coiled rx8 for 8 years I wasn't expecting that much bod roll. The 32mpg definitely beats the 15 or so mpg of the rx8. The miata's gearing is also great for more modern highway speeds of 80+ cruise. Where the Rx8's 6th gear is hardly different than the 5th and sits right where the fuel map starts to go rich. Currently at 1500miles after 2 weeks, probably going to clear wrap the car and get the full verus aero. Already have the platypus license plate bracket, and had the dealer not drill holes in my front bumper.
Mx5 = a true driver's car unlike these over tech infused heavy lack of manual transmission machines that make people lazier drivers. Very few cars these days that offer that kind of experience especially as a roadster.
I owned a ND Miata for a short time and I regret selling it everyday. No other vehicle I've owned has brought me as much joy as that car. Its ability to ALWAYS put a grin on my face (without breaking the law) and the fact that it's within reach for most people make it a very special car. I hope Mazda never discontinues this gem because I plan to buy another one the moment my budget allows and next time I'll never sell it! Hopefully, Mazda continues the ND Miata for a while longer because the next gen NE Miata is expected to become an AWD mild hybrid. I'm sure it'll still be a fun car, but the entire point of the Miata to me is its pure sports car configuration... RWD, manual transmission, naturally aspirated engine, light weight, etc. Making it a AWD hybrid will completely change that formula into something entirely different, which doesn't interest me.
As a 2020 MIata owner, I'd like to answer a few questions. First, yes the seats are comfortable. I just took a 5000+ mile road trip and had no serious issues. Second, the Miata can handle pretty much whatever weather you put it through. I live in the Ohio valley region, have 4 actual seasons and still drive mine daily. You will need at least good all season tires (currently running the Continental extreme contact DWS 06+) for winter and snowy driving, but it will do just fine in snow. The weather stripping and weather protection is top notch and I've had no leaks or issues. Even with a soft top in the winter, the cabin stays nice and toasty with the heater, regardless of outside temps. The small cabin also means it heats up/cools down quickly too.
The leather seats get ruins very fast. Isnt it? Anyway i am considering to buy an mx5 2.0 rf 184hp here in Italy. I am looking for a good deal. The rf is sooo sexy
I live near a Mazda dealership and I passed by a few MX-5's that they had on the lot while walking my dog today. Didn't spot any dealer adjustments or markups, but did see relatively reasonable add-ons (e.g. I think one had a $65 medical kit). At least nothing outrageous like $600 mud flaps I've seen on SUVs by other brands. It is a beautiful looking car and it is certainly tempting, but I can only afford 1 car. Therefore, I shall continue to wait for the upcoming Civic Type R, which has the 2nd row of seats and decent trunk space.
I just bought the 2022 MX-5 RF. Love the handling, the transmission, the shifter, plus it is a real head turner (I got it in red). I wish there were a little more storage within the cabin (i.e. door pockets & a real glove box) plus I was very surprised to learn that there was no jack or lug nut wrench included. Seems to be something you might need. Regardless, it is a very fun car to drive. It is not my daily driver, just my weekend hauler.
I am searching for a usedone here in Italy. I love the 2.0 Rf 184hp in machine grey. I hope i can find a good deal. The bad thing on a newone is that tge 2liters here in italy comes with recaro seats and I cannot take the brown or red interior set up wich it would be great. Anyway here a newone is 38600€ . A usedone would be about 20somethigthousands. I must find one ...
NO spare tire either. Comes with a bottle of Slime and a 12v DC pump to inflate the flat so you can drive it to a repair shop. I have had one for two weeks . Love it.
I have 1200 miles on my RF GT. I'm gonna drive it year round. Picked up some Vredstein Wintrac Pro tires and getting warrantied undercoating. Let's go!
I have a '22 MX-5 RF and a '21 Mazda 2.5T hatchback, both great cars for different purposes. I often wonder what the Miata would be like with the 2.5T engine.
i don’t know if putting a turbo on a miata would be right. i’d rather have the high revving NA lightweight engine personally. would be dope if we have the option for turbo though
@@alexnutcasio936 i don’t care about a tesla. they’re the most boring thing i’ve ever seen in my life. would go as far as taking an Austin mini cooper over the fastest tesla anyday of the week
Nothing in this video is hyperbole. I own a 2019 ND2 Sport. It's pure, raw driving emotion. I'm picking up my Model 3 Performance this month as my new daily driver, but keeping the MX-5 for fair weather days. Nothing on the market gives you this entire package at this price.
Interesting someone who values ICE mechanics picking up a BEV. You confuse me sir. I used to be a BEV champion in the initial Leaf days then after owning a BEV for a few years i went to test drive a Mustang GT 6mt. When i fired up that engine i was like "OMG what have i done?" That visceral emotion just washes over you, i got back into my Focus EV (which was a far better car than the Leaf) and said never again. Ive not been back to BEV's since finding them lacking of everything i love sans the pure speed, but its clinical. Ive driven the S, and its performance brethren and sure its fast but thats a party trick that gets old fast.
@@aurorajones8481 BEVs didn't interest me until the performance was there. The M3P is roughly half the time to 60 as the Miata. Tesla gives a good mix of quickness and handling while also being a very civil daily driver. Plus, it's way more practical than my Miata.
@@jessepotter365 here is the thing 0-60 is such an over rated stat. Don't get me wrong A model S plad is stupid fast but it's only fast till about 1/2 mile. That is the downside of a EV, what you see is what you get. There is a race here in Texas that happens twice a year called "The Texas Mile" it's basically a mile long race to see who can get the top MPH at the mile mark, and the past 2 years Tesla even the model S plad has ranked lower of the pack compared to the ICE and hybrid cars. Heck I have a 1500 WHP R35 GTR and while the plad is so much faster to the quarter and 1/2, anything after that my R35 will start to catch up and leave it in the dust. go search on UA-cam Texas Mile 2022.
@@DJG37S I believe every word you said. For a daily driver, which is more useful, quick bursts of speed or going over 150 mph? I'm not buying a race car, I'm buying a quick daily.
I fondly remember all those lovely sportscars from the 1970s and 80s. MGBs, MG Midgets, Triumph Spitfires, Frog Eyed Sprites, the sublime twincam Lotus Elan, they were all underpowered by today's standards, BUT for a reason, because they offered infectious driver involvement, and a wind in your hair experience. Why is everyone after more and more horsepower, in a small two seater sports car, you simply do not need it. If your after more HP, look for a different car, such as a Fiesta ST or Civic Type R
I am also curious about kpc. I wanna buy an mx5 2.0 rf 184hp here in Italy. In the used market obviously you dont find one with the kpc yet. I should buy a newone to get the kpc. And I dont know if its really worth having it .
@@KirkKreifels totally agree! But some people that haven't yet experienced it first hand might be turned off by the numbers and miss out on the chance. That said, it's 66 degrees outside. I'm going out for a nice top down drive🙂 Cheers!
13:45 you were just driving/shifting for fun and miata is just about pure fun but you hit 60 in 3rd there, what were your best times like hitting 60 in 2nd gear at redline 7200-7500 rpm? Great review!
@@KirkKreifels Yep maybe you're too use to NAs and ND1s, ND1 needed to shift to 3rd. You enjoying the miata and putting it high in your ranking regardless 0-60 time makes your review even more awesome 🤩 😆. I had the most fun in my slow 120hp 1995 NA than any car but this ND is still fun, slightly more dailyable, and meets modern safety regulations so my wife and family is happier.
If they got rid of the center console divider, or at least moved it a couple of inches to the right, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Alas, at 6'3", when I tried it, I constantly felt like my right knee needed some room on the right.
I’ve owned my 90’ NA for quite a few years now and I need to go out and test drive one of the later model NDs. When I test drive the first mode year of the ND generation the motor didn’t seem to rev as quickly as I am used to with my NA and I wasn’t very impressed. One thing for sure is the door height on the ND is higher than the NA, but I understand that is for safety. I’m just so used to putting my arm on the top of the door while driving.
I have a 2016. It is my 4th Miata, my 8th roadster. I get around 40mpg at 75 miles per hour. Canada to Santa Rosa (north bay) is 42 to 44 mpg. Skinny tires is a temporary problem. I think the light weight is the secret to the fun. Your body weight is a higher percentage of the total which causes you to feel more on corners and acceleration I still smile all the time in the car. Makes other cars feel like polders. Owned one since it’s introduction, never had a repair in all those years. You can add a turbo but a zero to 60 time of 5.8 is the normal quoted time which was a top time until recently. If you do it right, you can make it lurch forward when shifting into second. Springs up and forward like a cat. More smiles. I got 4 speeding ticket when I got this model. They were all when I was leaving a town and accelerating up highway speed. It is great fun.
@@alexnutcasio936 I have a 2021 in California and get about 35mpg at 75mph. Top down or over 80mph the gas mileage goes down. In some markets in the world the Miata has a 1.5L engine instead of the 2.0 of the U.S. and they actually get over 40mpg. Don't know about Larry Rees' car but these Skyactiv engines are very efficient.
I miss my 04 S2000. I would have never imagined small coupe cars would be a thing in the past when living in the 2000's. My S2000 was boosted and made 400 WHP and the reason why I loved that car is that it was able to handle so much power on a completely stock motor. My S2000 was the V8 killers not only on a track but on a drag strip. The major downside of the MX-5 is that it can't handle a lot of power on a stock motor. if you want to add forced induction into an mx-5 you basically need to rebuild the engine with better rods and pistons. If the MX-5 was able to handle forced induction on a stock motor it would sell like hot cakes.
I live in Vancouver and own a 2023 soft top.The Miata is so good that if you blip the throttle you can change gears without using the clutch because its so easy to match revs.Don't try this unless you know how to drive.
Are you kidding I'm in MA, after a hike in the winter I'll put the top down. If it's over 40 and sunny top down. Just blast the heater. In fact I'd say between 40 and 90 the latter is worse if you are stuck in traffic on the highway. The AC is not as powerful as the heat. Regarding winter I even bought an extra set of rims with snows for mid Dec - mid March. I didn't take it out much in the snow but with the right tires it handled well
Great review man. I still can't decide what trim to buy. I own a pickup as my daily. So this would be a weekend car. Was looking at the Soft top in red , but I dont know if I should pony up and get the Grand Touring, or just stick with the sport with cloth seats! What ya think?
If you’re watching this channel, you’ll want an LSD, Bilstein B6s, and Shock Tower Brace. I think you have to get club or GT for those. They are worth it. If you plan on modifying it, I’d get the base model and go nuts. An LSD can be added for about $800.
Do you think the Sport trim level is good? Personally I think it looks the best, I like it minimal. However, it has an open diff while the other two trims have an LSD. Does this matter at all? Also the sport has 16 in wheels rather than 17, I wish it has 17s for the better ground clearance, do the 16s have any benefit?
Damn. This is a very underpowered, pricey for what it offers. BUT I can not be more satisfied, I can not stop giggle or smile when I am revving higher and higher and take turns with more speed than I should. lol
Great review. Innovative. Different, involving subscribers. The NC miata is the best of all. For 15k used miata you can have the same experience than expending almost 40k nowadays with the top Grand Touring ND. Even with the NC you have more space in the trunk, more cupholders, a glove box, Hydraulic steering wheel and better looking exhaust with a pipe on each side.
Random but is it just me or anyone else thing the go pro suction cupped on the entertainment display will do some damage to the touch screen on the cars reviewed…? Genuinely curious, anyone know?
I have an ND1 and am almost sure that I can get 0-60 manual transmission in more than 7.x seconds by doing a normal peel off (unlike you). You started at RPMs in 2.5K range. That's not how the car was designed to run.
I have owned 2 Miatas, a '97 gen 1 5 spd, and currently have a gen 2 '99 with an automatic. Yeah, I know, automatic, poor me. I love them both, (although the 5 speed more). These were both affordable cars to buy, but Mazda has put these 4th gen Miatas, as great as they are, way out of affordability for me, even used. Dammit man.
Mazda should focus on increasing the roll stiffness in next generation mx5(Ne) because this point is what makes mazda lose its top position in the segment and it deserves to be the best !
The “Club” trim level gives Roll Bars and more - which addresses the roll stiffness. Also, the 2022 has a new torque vectoring to further address that issue. MAZDA heard you and others mention this - and addressed it in 2022 models :)
@@nextleveljourney6612 No,this is not enough ...the mx5 should atleast has the same levels of roll stiffness as the gr86 ...,and this will be done by the suspension architecture itself and not by an active system ,and because of this it requires new platform which can only happen in the new generation...The passive roll stiffness of the vehicle should be atleast equivalent to the gr86....otherwise the mx5 would lose its position in the segment.

It's not underpowered but if you need more power I have an exhaust on my Mx-5 from flying Miata and it boosts bhp by 16 and torque by 8 and the sound is great.
I'd say effect numbers have gone out of hand. People call 300hp family sedans "underpowered". How bad of a driver do you have to be not to be able to drive a normal powered car in traffic? :P Since when is supercar performance the norm? Mostly an american thing though. A Miata with 180 horsepower hauling 1100 kg with driver is enough to get you in trouble in most situations.
Needs more "fun" colors like the domestic automakers offer on their sports cars....Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger offer some really cool factory colors; Mazda is too conservative with color options.
Okay...c'mon, I know you're taller than me, so how are you able to fit in this car and I can't?! I've wanted to drive it so badly for years, but my knees are in the dash. Not fair, Kirk. Not fair. Thanks for torturing me with your joyful experience. 😀

Glad you like the car. But I don’t get it; why lead with all the 0-60 stuff when the Miata is not about straight line acceleration!? It’s a sublime feel & handling kinda car, you should lead with that. Duh. And why do you act as if its body roll is a “problem”? You think Mazda’s designers & engineers “dropped the ball” on that!? No! They carefully dialed in that playful body roll on purpose. It’s one of the many MX-5 qualities we lo love about the car. Jeez.
What is the obsession with 0-60 ? Is it some kind of magic number ? The Mazda roadster is not about acceleration or speed. If that is what you want then buy a Tesla which is very fast in a very boring straight line. Best of luck with that.
You can actually speed in the new miata so id hardly say underpowered. Daily drive my NB in a “spirited” fashion and ive never gone past the speed limit enough to get pulled over. Tried it in an ND and you actually have to check your speed

But between you and me, if you re-set it to factory before you bring it in…we’d have a tough time proving that was the issue.”
In short, expensive complicated sports cars make life more expensive and more complicated.
Kirk, you had the AC on for your 0-60 test... I know, there is a lot going on doing a review! Great review, as always!
Haha it's hot in Florida
MX5 rocks!
I just picked up one of these. So much fun to drive. I highly recommend it as relatively inexpensive convertible fun. This from a guy with several Porsches including a 718 Spyder. Love my Miata soft top manual.
Curious, why drive a Miata when you own several Porsches?

I daily drive this vehicle and enjoy every seconds 😄😄😄
Quoting Jason from Hegarty, Capability is not equal to Joy , and this vehicle obviously is not as fast as other sports car but no doubt very fun to play with
Love your reviews. Perfect timing on this one as I am both to SW Florida this summer and ordering the Mx-5 club this month!
Congratulations 🎉
Last year, I bought a 2018 ND RF, and I didn’t think it was possible to fall in love with a car, how wrong I was. The more I drive it, the more I love it.

Also my favorite car. I have had three of them. Love your Mazda videos.
Coming from my 3 mazda Rx8's
I just got a 22 Club RF Manual trading in my 21 Mazda 3 2.5T sedan.
God I can't wait to own a mx5. Love the channel bro
Thanks George! You'll get one someday!
ND2 might be the last pure sport cabrio...
Awesome video Kirk! Thanks for answering our questions!
Any time!
When saw the first generation Miata fell in love with them this new one is nicer.
I feel you! It's a great 2nd or 3rd car. It's nearly impossible first choice for most people.
Naw! Who needs a jack? If you have a flat, pick up the Miata, put it in your pocket, and take it to the nearest service center.🤭🤭. Yes, I do have one.
Love it.
My 2022 MX-5 is scheduled to be here by the end of the month. It will be my third. I can't wait to see how the KPC improves the cornering.
Thanks fella , saving for my ND while driving my NC (very standard, 110k miles on clock, stratospheric fun)
Wimpy engines.
I’d agree that it needs more HP and that’s why we all wonder.
i don’t know if putting a turbo on a miata would be right. i’d rather have the high revving NA lightweight engine personally. would be dope if we have the option for turbo though

I must admit though, the Nissan Z is tempting me.
Mazda did well keeping the rev-matching out of it. No need to complicate perfection.

If they got rid of the center console divider, or at least moved it a couple of inches to the right, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Alas, at 6'3", when I tried it, I constantly felt like my right knee needed some room on the right.
It’s a great car if you’re shrimpy. 6’3” won’t cut it.

BS, unless you’ve got a TDi Miata, you’re not getting 40 mpg at 75 mph. Closer to 30. Oh, they never made a diesel Miata, so you’re blowing smoke.
@@alexnutcasio936 I have a 2021 in California and get about 35mpg at 75mph. Top down or over 80mph the gas mileage goes down. You have too large roads in US for this! Americans who love that car are true elite of automobile knowledge.
They make soft luggage for the MX5 that will hold the needs of two people and hit the road with the top down.
I hear you but most people don't modify their engines and the MX-5 still is selling well despite it's limited potential
Props to you on driving stick with a flip-flop/sandal! I tried that once and it was the worst experience ever lol.
They're not flip flops. They're EarthRunners 😊 nothing floppy about them. Cheers.
I learned to drive a manual on my Dad's '99 Miata. I have a special place for these cars in ny heart largely because of that.
Moonshot you are not nobody here cares.

Mazda should make a cabriolet version of the Mazda 3.
People saying the Miata is slow hasn’t had them .01 inch away from them on track around a corner. (Exaggeration but still they’re fast around corners)

Have you tried the Fiata? That would be a good comparison being that the motor is the only noticeable difference.

I have an ND1 and am almost sure that I can get 0-60 manual transmission in more than 7.x seconds by doing a normal peel off (unlike you). You started at RPMs in 2.5K range. That's not how the car was designed to run.

It's not underpowered but if you need more power I have an exhaust on my Mx-5 from flying Miata and it boosts bhp by 16 and torque by 8 and the sound is great.

How bad of a driver do you have to be not to be able to drive a normal powered car in traffic? :P Since when is supercar performance the norm? Mostly an american thing though. Useless; the aircon was on for (at least the 2nd time) the 0-60. 5:52 kinematic, not kinetic
What is the obsession with 0-60 ? Is it some kind of magic number ? The Mazda roadster is not about acceleration or speed. If that is what you want then buy a Tesla which is very fast in a very boring straight line. Best of luck with that.
3:51 for dolphin catching fish
IF only it had a v12 sound - then it would be perfect.
You can actually speed in the new miata so id hardly say underpowered. Daily drive my NB in a “spirited” fashion and ive never gone past the speed limit enough to get pulled over. Tried it in an ND and you actually have to check your speed
Love the NB too!
@@KirkKreifels appreciate the follow up! I always subscribe to the channels that reply to comments even if its just a tactic to grow. The effort is appreciated, good luck, waiting to see what else you have to show 😃
I'm gonna get another one eventually. Prices are too high used and getting higher new. 38k for a club with bbs package and that's before taxes. Not exactly affordable anymore.
