Water park is an option, but is kind of far away. You need to walk like 15 min to get to the water park. When you get to the water park, in half a day they’re going to be bored and will comeback to the resort.
@@michaelmcdonald3170it has a lot of good things, but, if you have been to another punta cana resort you will be comparing things. Beach is perfect, riu party is the bomb, cocktails are really good. Rooms not so good, but manageable. Go ready to enjoy pool and beach and give the bartenders a cash tip and they’ll do anything for you!
It was excellent. The food is good, beach/ pool clean with lots of longe chairs. Take lots of single dollar bills as tipping is expected as 60% of the nation earns $750us per month. Make sure you have reserved airport transfers as the sector is highly regulated, so you have to select a company. As for excursions, I went on the local tour that took us to the mountains for lunch, cigar making, cocoa making and lots more. Enjoy.
@@Eltikin1 I went to the grand moon palace back In 2018, the rooms were super nice but the entertainment was lacking, I can deal with the rooms not being great considering I won’t be in them much, but overall I’m excited!
Like the most- RIU PARTY Best experienced in a long time, music and vibe off the chain! Least like - food options, was expecting more options. Mexican restaurant only had 3 plates available. Italian restaurant is a buffet with pasta, would not even say Italian. Steak restaurant, only has one meat option and it was a Ribeye!
We were here from 24/12 to 7/1 so probably the same time as you! Yes the fire alarm went off 2 times while we were there and a long power cut on the Saturday before we came home. The hotel is a joke, plug sockets hanging of the walls in the rooms, mould on the walls. Tiny beds bad food. The only good thing we enjoyed here was the beach and the entertainment New Year’s Eve other than that it is not worth the money. We have just been refunded by TUI a lot of money
I wasn’t there for new year, but probably we were there at the same time. And I conquer with your reviews. The Corporation RIU needs to address this issues, they just wanna take our money and won’t invest it on the property!
