Looking at that narrow alleyway and wondering what's there in its place now. That was then, before all that was firebombed. This shouldn't remind me of the war and what happened, but for some reason, it does. All those people working in shirtsleeves and waistcoats.
And why shouldn't a video such as this remind one of that great fratricidal horror? Anyone with an ounce of feeling for history must be reminded of it and conclude that a montage such as this says more than a dozen commemorative speeches by politicians who would do they same all over again if they could.
