I totally dig your vintage MIJ collection. I just picked up a 76 ibby with triple HB's. This was great to see as I was thinking of swapping out for burstbuckers. The super 70's arn't bad in comparison but I think the burstbuckers sounded the best Is your 74 Ibanez a set neck or bolt on?
V7's fared surprisingly well, FRED did alright, Tokai Tele w/SDs was fun (imho, more like the tele's fault not the pups).. but what happened to the Super70s? Are they set up right? They should be outdoing everyone in output, by a long shot
I alwais loved V7 and V8 pickups one of my favorite

thanks man, so many do comparisons w/o telling pickup, which is pretty much useless. Really liked the P-90's and Dimarzio FREDs
Agreed. Plus I don't think it's right to compare pickups using absolutely different guitars.
1st guitar did the best.
p 70's win hands down
oh and wash the dishes and do the ironing while you're at it :)
