In queer English slang, "fierce" is used to show that same sort of energy and power, but in a way that's born of defiance - you're fierce in the face of everything that would hurt you, and despite everything that has.

I was surprised to see that the same kpop groups in the west that are seen as icons among queer people are the same in Korea. Despite language and culture differences I think the diva energy translates very well between Korea and the west. SNSD and Loona especially are popular with gay people and yeves and Twice have a big lesbian following. (G)I-dle is well liked by lgbt people also and lesbians really like the song Oh My God especially. I found it funny to see every group that was shown because they were all groups that had a huge impact on me as I was growing up. F(x) especially left a big impression on middle school me.

I would also liken 'kki' to 'cunty' lol which although derives from an obscenity seems to be used very commonly now. It can be euphemistically described as Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, Talent but I think the word came first and the acronym second to allow it to be said on TV😅 I love that there's a similar sense of gay energy encapsulated in these terms - across different languages and geographies we have something in common as queer people!
