Do the sheep do okay on the canola stubble I thought they would be put of by the stalks
No they don't eat it, they will graze what's on the ground and that's about it, not a lot of grazing value in canola stubbles
Why do you windrow canola like that and not harvest it like wheat or barley? Is it just to dry it down more? Enjoying your videos.
Cheers, Its a constant discussion! It helps it mature evenly and also makes it ripen earlier so all our crops aren't ready to harvest at once
