At higher tiers SPAA with guided AA missiles an stinger can kill you before your within range so by using these you can fly lower an stay off their radar an keep your speed

It allows you to hit targets without having to spot them much in advance and it allows you to bomb targets behind cover a bit easier as these bomb fall pretty straight down, which also allows for easier time doing low altitude level flight bombing as with regular bombs the CCIP will be much more ahead of you which makes it harder to see exactly where it's aimed at. For dive attacks, regular bombs will be better, but dive attacks require altitude, which makes you a target for SPAA. So think for yourself what situation you will find yourself in and what is best or simply use what playstyle you prefer. For air battles however, there is barely an advantage since ground targets and bases are continuously spotted for you, so you rather want your bombs to hit as fast as possible and not slowly fall towards the target.

They allow you to make super low passes without Fuze-timers and have enooth time to be away from the blast zone before they hit the ground
