I pull over 50 of catfish average from 14lbs to 18lbs during the clear oaks catfish derby. My arm so sore on last day, I didn’t even fish!😂😂

Wow! That’ll certainly get you sore for couple days! Good job on that many catches. We’re just using red worms to catch some. I believe if we use livers or sardines, we might get sore arms like you. 😀

Wind at the Oaks ramp can be treacherous making recovery difficult with dock being whipped around like a wet noodle…speaking from experience. How do those CL red ears taste compared to Crowley perch?

Yes, the Oaks ramp can be pretty dangerous. Red ears in CL during colder weather tasted about the same as Crowley Perch in my opinion. Crowley Perch during warmer weather tasted muddy too.

Clear lake Boards should let the Japanese company to come and clear the lake of algae for biofuel. But instead they want millions of dollars from the Japanese company. And now, that’s what happened every years. I was telling the residents in Clear Lake to fire the Boards and get some one who care about the lake more than the money!
