We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience-up close and in person-all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. I agree with wanting to live in the tropics! I’m originally from Alaska and moved to Seattle at 16 years old and next year we move to Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines for good! Excited! That little hover drone looks cool! I love both your channels, and like the direction you’re going with both channels! For ABC maybe you can spend the year exploring 1 region/continent at a time, with maybe going to a separate continent for 1 time during that year as a Teaser of the continent that you guys will explore the following year? Similar to Denver, it's mostly cold (around 8 months or so) here on the WestSide. But mostly rain and maybe 2-4 days of snow throughout the year; unlike Toronto/New York Eastern side where it snows a lot.
Overtime, I've been missing the HEAT, the tropical vibes, and the Mangoes (like how Erin's fond of it). So, I watched 3 Family vloggers (I know of) after work, and ABC is delivering high quality content that feels like I'm travelling with them. So, cheers to 2024 and more content to come! 🥳🌴

Hey, Phil and Erin, just subbed you guys, I’m originally from Dallas, my family is from Laoag, Ilocos Norte in the northernmost part of Luzon in the Philippines, I usually visit there every year, if you guys plan on doing a roadtrip to Northern Luzon, Ilocos region is a must visit!!!, plenty of things to do and lots of sightseeings, I can name a few such as Bangui Windmills, pagudpud beach, Malacañang of the north (former home of the late Ferdinand Marcos Sr.), and San Agustin Church, etc. my best regards to your whole beautiful family and wishing yall the best in the next chapter in the Philippines, cheers😊🥂🥳🙌

I don't know if this is a relevant comment but I just wanna say that your channel always makes me remember my ultimate life goal and that is to build an adorable, happy FAMILY.
Came from a challenged family so I am aware that it all should start from me as the future head of the household thats why I'm doing my best now. We are seriously considering moving to the Philippine. I am retirable age but we have a child who is 6 years old so schools are a big factor. We are considering on-line school like you are doing for your kids. Its a big decision and we are not sure that is best option for our kid but seems to be working out well for your family. Thanks for sharing all your experiences!

I think I have not seen ABC vlog in 2 weeks since the last one you were in Denver cooking Filipino dishes. Good to see you here and good to know your plans in 2024. I’m sure you’ll be back in BGC soon and all around Metro Manila. Check out the new Araneta City which is also a part of Quezon City. There are new Gateway Mall 1 and 2 out there.

I like this update. I am a Filipino from US but to be honest, as much as I like your contents in Philippines, I like it more if you stick with world traveling. I would hate to see your channel become one of those channels that just got stuck in Philippines.
Not stuck at all. We have fun plans for 2024. But the Philippines gives the kids a little more familiarity and stability through these crucial years for them.

We normally wouldn’t even mention a country we transited through and didn’t leave the airport but it was a 13hr layover. Felt like we were there for a while 😊
