Can we at least spell my 🐐's name correctly?? Sheesh "Erving"
You beat me to the punch.
Facts 💯🎯
Stop nitpicking
@@slurrinsportztv255na bro this is a legend legend
@slurrinsportztv255 it really is not nitpicking especially if we say Kyrie Erving.
Julius ERVING*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I grew up in Uniondale and Roosevelt, LI, and personally saw Dr. J play from Roosevelt HS, to U Mass, to the ABA, and to the NBA. I attended Temple U, so I was in Phila. when he became a 76er. From Roosevelt Park, Centennial Park, Kennedy Park, Rucker, he rocked the NBA. He is a true legend who changed the game!! He did Strong Island and the 'Velt righteously. We love you Doc!
@@valeriefullilove5198 My cousin went to HS with at Roosevelt. Their sibling went there when Eddie Murphy was there.
I don’t blame the Veit for wanting to claim Doc but I humbly reclaim Doc 😂he from the Stead but he did go to the Velt tho so it’s cool.
@@adambrown7609Yall got Eddie even tho he claim Brooklyn Charlie Murphy Aaron Hall and Damien Hall Public Enemy and Howard Stern and even Keith Murray
@@DEver-xe3eo There's enough of his legacy to go around..lol...A lot of us back then moved from the 'stead. I myself was in West Hempstead before we moved, so it's all good...
@@adambrown7609 My cousin played on the team with him at Roosevelt High. Eddie Murphy is younger than us, but later on, I did live in the same apartment complex in Hempstead when he was at SNL (before he purchased "Bubble Hill)...Long Island is chock full of legends! Thanks for sharing.
Misspelled Doc's last name. ERVING not IRVING.
This is why I watch you guys. I just learned a lot about Dr. J. #1 show for me because of who you have on the show & the topics you cover plus the questions you ask. Can't wait to see more old school players. Suggestions are Ben Wallace, Brandon Roy, Terrell Brandon, Mark Price, latrell sprewell, Ron Artest, Jermaine O'Neal. Excited to see who got next.
I'd love to see Latrell it's like he JaMarcus Russell now.
Doc cold blooded 🤌💪
Dr j is the reason I fell in love with basketball
U should see CONNIE HAWKINS RIP
THE HAWK..JB.OK

JULIUS “DR. J.” ERVING
Dr j made driving to the paint look so smooth 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Peace! I know Pete Vescey and talk to him here in NY. He told me some legendary stories about the Doctor! Salute 🫡 to one of the greatest to ever lace up a sneaker 👟 The Doctor! Dr. J has the two greatest moves; I’ve ever seen. The first was his baseline drive against the Lakers in the 80’ Finals…and the his rock the cradle; dunk on Coop in 1983…I watched both games live 😮….Smh..
Come Fly with the Doctor
Dr. J shook me and my brother's hand after a Sixers vs Knicks game at MSG back in 1982. We were like: "I'm not washing my hand!!!" 😂 Dr. J-Julius Erving was larger than life for a lot of us kids in the late 1970s and early 80s.
Julius Erving paved the way, he lost his brother early and still conducted himself as a great human being on and off the court, never a bitter human being. Real OG of basketball 🏀. I got extra luv for him because his birthday is a day before mine. I remember my older cousins in NYC always talking about Dr J being ☝🏽 of the best.👍🏽🙏🏽
Damn that Rucker Team he mentioned and players in the league was NUTS!
Erving!!!
My favorite player of all time, the Doctor Julius Erving 🏀
The doctor is in the house...PHILLY baller 🏀
Kerr fell into a special player and gets credit for Mark Jackson's dynasty.
One of my favorites since the 70’s…Dr. J!
The Doctor my favorite player of all time
Good pick
It's showtime 🎥
Is Doc the Goat?
The Fish That saved Pittsburgh !
Best sports show on the internet. Whenever I hear that “remember” it makes me wanna run through walls to achieve my goals.. Thank you coach! Spanish Harlem NYC in the building!
We need more stories of the street games from players such as Dr J and yourself Mark. Mark I can remember when you would come off the bench for St. Johns. We use to be hyped when you subed in for Mike Moses. You guys should have won it with Walter
Dr. J and Denzel might be related
CONNIE HAWKINS RIP "THE HAWK"
DR. J THANK YOU BOTH FOR THE HANG TIME UNDER THE BASKET SCOOP AND UNDER THE BASKET...
LEAPS! LEAPS! LEAPS! KNOWS NO BOUNDS.....REMEMBER RUCKER NYC!
JB.OK
Dr J is a legend in Rucker Park.
Any time Julius Erving was in the public during his time in the ABA, it was like an Alien just stepped off of a Spaceship --Pat Riley
2:00 💦Tears💦 Right now. At 57 years old, for "Us" that loved Basketball and had no Father around his presence was special. Any time he was interviewed, he spoke like a Dignitary and was just as even keel as you see now. Well worth emulating for contemporary celebrities and adults in general.
Love, love, love, love ... lol ... having bro's, you w/watching sports, that w/a given ... Dr J., the best! Salute.
you all never asked the man about his iconic dunk on Michael Cooper or his move on the baseline on Kareem and Magic..missed opportunities Mark ,but all else great interview
Dr J dominated the ABA.
The ABA legend is Dr. J
Please go watch Reggie Jackson documentary, it was great great great documentary.
I just noticed that the New York Yankees and New York Nets dominated the late 1970s
The guest lineup on this show is so great. Mark flexing them connections. Bluu has some great questions here too.
1:01... 👏 #😎(DR.)
Chicago Got much ❤ for the Dr. 🫡 🙌🏾 💪🏾
Awesome interview legendary thank you so much we need more of theses interviews with the founders of the game
You know you cooking when you get benched because of your expertise.
You got remember who you give the ball too and play the game. Ruff place to be in.
I met Dr. J about 2 months ago. He is an absolute gentleman! It was an honor to meet him.
Wowwwwwwwwwww a goat!!
Dr. J is a legend. The fish that saved Pittsburgh .
Starving Marvin lol. Story telling is top tier. Perfect interview 🐐
When I think of Dr J ,I think of the new york nets of the ABA.......
Why does blue always look like he had chewing tobacco in his mouth
Did he say youngest is 19, oldest is 52?!?!
Dr. J has that sneak attack, understated humor.
THE LEGENDARY JULIUS THE DOCTOR, IRVINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Another great episode! This show should be getting way more views!
Dr J is a legend at Rucker park.
Straight facts
Yes! the Doctor is in!!!!(pause)
Wow Dr J is a true legend
The doctor is in the building!!!
Rest in Peace Ralph Burgess
Amazing ❤!!!!! Show Doc.J
44:05 😂
One of the true goats!!!🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Shoulda asked Dr. J, did Joe Hammond really give you 50 in one half!? Respect to Dr. J though!
It never happened Joe Hammond play shooting guard he went head-to-head with Charlie Scott who was on Julius erving's West Snyder's team the majority of the points were scored on Charlie Scott but because Julius had the bigger name and yes they did switch off and yes they did switch off a few times where Julius was guarding him but the story became about Julius because Julius had the better NBA career but it never happened the doc said himself and he has no need to lie
WTF PISTOL & DR.J huh 🤔.
Definitely need to be in goat convo
The outro track is fire
Great interview 💯👏🏾✌🏾
Moses Malone the man I ever seen, who got the best of Kareem.
BILL WALTON IN 77 PLAYOFFS
@@williamhorace5794 I said who I seen, i didn’t see bill in 1977 i was only 7!
Love Dr. J!!
Love Dr. J!!
Respect coach

Chad curry
Great show
Moses Guthrie!
The Doc ❤
The other day I realized why Stephen Curry received so much leash from Mark Jackson to do his thing besides talent: Mark Jackson's son could easily be a stunt double for Steph in a movie😂!
Dr J 🐐
Please no more pauses yall pushing 40 and yall have two doctors appointments a year plus yall pushing 40
🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥
👀
The Doctor has gotten a lot better looking through the years. 10 years ago I thought he could be a movie star if he wanted to.
🔥🔥🔥
6
This is way better than Cam & Ma$e show
Damn where yall Been at?!?!?
Hey Mark Dr J is the only Franchise Player that can say that they were in the ABA finals and NBA finals back to back . Dr J is a GOAT . I would say Prime Doc is arguably the greatest small forward of all times . He is one of a few players who can play in any Era
🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🫡
Not arguable. Prime Dr.J is without doubt the greatest forward to ever lace them up. All due respect to Elgin Larry and Lebron. Erving prime was better.
What’s the surprise for us when we get the 100th episode
Wilt chamberlain
🐐
"They knew I could beat a guy one on one. After you beat a guy one on one, you become a scorer or a playmaker." - Dr. J.....
And LeBron said one on one isn't real basketball. It's the purest form of basketball.
Your best interview ever. Continue the good work. Next you need Jordan the lebron and Brony
Doc is a class act but a straight sleeping pill. With these long stories😅😅. Respect to my childhood hero 💯🏆
Really Julius Irving is the first Mike… his style was that… his credentials are better than lbj & Mike 🤷🏾
I tell my son that.
How is the podcast not cancelled as yet
