Love how burning, freezing, and slam dunking someone's body directly into the ground until they die is considered fine, but they draw the line at using the spell that kills them painlessly and instantly.
I see what you’re saying. I feel like it’s probably the issue that unforgivable curses are intended to do something dark and evil.
Not sure if you are looking for an actual answer or if its just sarcasm... but anyways according to the book the unforgivable curses are only usable by twisting your mentality into that of extreme dark emotions. So excessive use of dark magic actually turns your psyche into deranged lunatics because you have been forcing yourself to feel evil thoughts too much. Other combat spells on the other hand is just regular schoolwork, you can feel nothing in your heart as you burn your enemy to a slow painful death.

murder is illegal either way, Avada Kedavra is only used to kill while others spells may use for something else, it's same that gun is considered unsafe even there are 200 other ways to kill someone

As much as Sebastion going down this path is sad, he will have never gone this far into the Dark Arts if Solomon just allowed him to seek out away to cure his sister of the curse the non-dark art way. Solomon given up on saving Anne and trying to force Sebastion to stop seeking a way to remove the curse only escalated events this far to a point no one wins in the end.
y'all know this is the type of person who would defend a child predator or sum, sayin like: Well maybe if your child didnt look so shmecksy he wouldnt have done it!

I am talking about Solomon and how his action did lead Sebastion down this dark path that eventually lead to the entire family falling apart. Sebation at first never did seek Dark Arts to cure his sister but Solomon who has given up all hope to cure Anne did intentionally try to force Sebastion to stop trying to seek a way to curse Anne. Reasons cannot be fully certain since we don't see the the full story about from how Solomon starting out when he still tried to find a way to cure anne to how he is now with no hope of a cure and just wanted Sebastion to stop trying to find a way to remove the curse.
Sebastion is not free from the fault as well as he did choose to go down this dark path when he saw no other options left. However, where the fault fall under the most can be looked back in Solomon's actions more since he blocked every non-Dark Arts path to find a cure for Sebastion either because he truely believed there is no cure or simply because he did not want to admit he given up too soon when there was a cure before Sebation went down the Dark arts path.

It's a very involved question. But to be honest, its well worth it. One of the best questlines I've ever played through. It weaves itself in and out of the main quest line so easily. And the majority of it can be missed. And you don't even need to learn to the spells. Whether you're playing a "dark wizard" or a goody two shoes, it's well worth doing this questline
This is all I wanted to know about this game. Thank you.

Sebastian's family is tearing itself apart. I can't believe he went too far. I wish we can Oblivion him; forget everything on Ann and everything else.
That'd be even crueler to be honest. Plus, making him forget isn't going to erase the bad he's done. How can there be redemption if the person in question doesn't remember? This is why I always said *Obliviate* should be considered the first unforgivable charm and made illegal to use on fellow wizards and witches(It should still be used on muggles who have no business knowing about the magical world but no one else).
No just send him to Azkaban, someone in his position wouldn’t spend their whole life there….just a good chunk of it lol

I’ve been trying to decide should I explore or do main story mode and this just made me realize I need to help Sebastian out more 😭😭
I’ve been playing ever since this comment and I think it’s best to do a balance of both. There are so many quest and the main storyline makes it so you can’t just jump around. I’ve explored even more and honed my wizard skills to almost be just as good as the one who we all know and love, Voldemort. I’m killing everything on sight 😈

@@PatRick-kv8pu this video doesn’t do it any Justice, I imagine this guy isn’t exploring much just focusing on main objectives. I too haven’t gotten it yet but I think it’s the last curse to learn from Sebastian once he learns where to find the relic.
Couple hidden gems I found. You (eventually can open your own store and sell the extra clothes you have to yourself. And you can buy auto feeder and toys for your pets in the times and scrolls store. Also for extra storage space for completing the Merlin trials make sure you receive the rewards for the challenges, otherwise you won’t get anything.
If you really need quick cash and lots of it, collect about 15 different animals and head over to brood and peck beast shop in hogsmeade, you can sell extra animals to her for a really good price.
Tip for catching pets, go invisible, wait for them to lay down get in front of them without startle, use arresto then start the capture. I wouldn’t advise catching the hard types without this method.

There’s a secret mission called “go touch grass” it’s been 6 days and I’m not even half way through it.
The thing I love about this game is it doesn't turn everything into a dumb brainless minigame. A game like this would do making potions like a candy crush mini game. Learning spells a candy crush mini game. This game has none of that and I love it.
Even if you don’t take this ending you’ll get an opportunity later to learn the spell from Sebastian after having one last convo

I believe that sense our character is different from other wizzards because we can use ancient magic. Where using a boosted avada kedavra that's charge with ancient magic.
In other words: we are mixing dark magic with ancient magic.

Yes, to unlock certain main stories and side stories you must learn certain spells from your professors and by having a certain level

Holy f... I've never played this game before, and maybe I never will. But in fact the HP series (I mean the books!I!ve read the first one before the movies started to came out.) was something I kinda grew up on. Seeing this game, the mechanics of the dueling, and how fast paced it is... jesus, this game looks like something that makes the player competely zoned out during a battle! Wow!

The thing is Avada Kedavra is a late game spell, and optional one that is most players would probably beat the game first before knowing that spell

I believe multiplayer pvp should have a dark arts arena and pve four or 3 man dungeon if they add it and also co’op exploration questions it is good solo
Also for console flight should be controlled with left stick and able to look around with right stick plus spells available while flying would be nice
The ability bars select should utilise holding or toggle l1 or l2 or r1 or r2 triangle,square,circle,x fore example
They will add co-op and pvp like arenas in the future, why add everything slowly content will be released to keep busy with updates

basically, continue the story, if you choose not to learn it the first time you can learn it after you beat the main quest

There is just 1 boss to defeat in this game, and no you can’t kill him with avada
But any other powerfull enemy can be killed with just this spell.
So yeah, it’s pretty OP, and fun to use it.
Just the cooldown is longer than any other spell.

I love how the narrating is so emotionless. It is almost like me reading a book to myself.
I've always wondered why the killing curse was forbidden. The other two unforgivable curses I can understand why but not this one. There are tons of spells that kill, directly or indirectly, so why is this one so special?
if i remember correctly its because while other spells have the potential to kill, they have other ways to be used that are non-lethal.
however this curse is meant to kill and has no other use other than to do so. kinda like the difference between a gun and grenade. Gun can kill people but may also be used for sports or hunting, helpful or less harmful means. A grenade is meant to only kill or damage everything around it
I guess the key point is we have to mean it. If we were the normal people who believe that killing is wrong and hesitate to kill innocent people, the curse might not work after we cast the spell. So, if the killing curse effected on someone, we could suspect that the spell caster might have mental unstable or becoming psychopath. Other curses don't require strong will like killing curse to harm someone, thus, we can assume that the spell caster may curse for self-defense or protecting someone (even though the result is the same).
Because in the lore, the killing curse rips away the soul of the victim and destroys it.
@@zealous4665 if their soul was destroyed, then how did Harry see his parents again in....i think goblet of fire? did they have some kind of protection or something? Also Sirius black had his soul go thru some kind of mirror, did that save him?

@@77yvurc believe the reason why Harry can his parents during the ‘Goblet of fire’ was because they were not actual spirits but apparitions/ echos of them, almost like a memory of sorts. The reason they appear during the fight is because of something called the reverse spell effect which forces a wand (which in this case is Voldemorts) to show an “echo” of the last time the spell the was used, and because the last thing Voldemort did before he basically exploded was kill Harry’s parents. Hence why the appear before him during the fight.
Concerning Sirius, the ‘Mirror thing’ as you describe it is actually a veil. There is currently no explanation for what it really is or what it’s supposed to do but the most plausible answer is that it is a barrier between the world of the living and the world of the dead. But no, the veil most likely did not save Sirius soul since he had already been hit by the killing curse.
