Yeah especially the new team in the recent seasons, too many characters and they aren't that good. They're all just replacments of original characters earlier in the show.

His build up was good & I don’t think there was a single bad episode of season 5 & one of the best season finales of any show (that I’ve ever Seen)
"Underneath" was pretty bad, and it was a bottle episode. Other than that, season 5 was amazing. Prometheus was the best villain, there were several great characters besides Oliver, who had a great story himself. The new recruits were just a ball to have around, the crossover was a great episode, and it really began to experiment with it's more gritty side since it was on at a later time.Have to mention Lian Yu, since it is easily one of the best, if not the best, episodes of the show's history.

I love Prometheus, but I wouldn't go as so far as to call him the best Arrow villain or best Arrowverse villain. IMO he's the 2nd best Arrow villain and the 3rd best in the Arrowverse.

6. Season 4 (just trash, tedious and Laurel's death was so un-dramatic that you would cry about how bad it was) 5. Season 3 (it was good but the whole Sara dying thing was not great nor entertaining, Ra's Al Ghul was great though) 4. Legends was a filler for my time and not really grabbed my full intrest, Supergirl I nver watch, I dont like it so you are definetly fine and I refer Arrow over Flash
Season 5: This season, while it had some issues with the new team early on, once Prometheus came into play, was just perfect. No other Arrowverse villain has had such an effect on the hero, where they've made them consider if they even are a hero, and what good they've accomplished. That Season Finale is the best episode the show's ever had. Season 2: This is the season that Arrow really broke out. Deathstroke has become so ingrained into the Arrow mythos, and Manu Bennett's rapport with Stephen Amell is perfect. This is the season I probably have the least complaints about. 3. Season 1: It is so great to see where this great show all began. I went back and watched Season 1 after Season 5 concluded, and what a ride it was. Knowing, finally, where the flashbacks took us makes going back to this season in particular a treat. Such a fun ride. Season 3: This was the season where I started watching. I was getting caught up in the weeks between episodes. While I was a bit confused at first, once I had caught up this was my favorite TV show. And it has remained so this entire time. I love the portrayal of Ra's, and that winter finale where he kicked Oliver off the mountain is one of my favorite Arrow memories. Season 6: This season was really uneven. Though I really liked what we saw of Diaz, when it was all over, I felt we still barely knew anything about him. The best part of this season is the Crisis on Earth-X, but that was so good it was the best part of every season this year. Excited to see where the show goes from here. Season 4: Arrow is my favorite TV show. Ever. This show, despite any flaws it has, means so much to me. I often find the themes the show tackles each season relating to my own life. So I still love Season 4. Damien Darhk was a good villain who had some great menacing scenes. We got Constantine back. Even when Arrow is at it's weakest, I still love it. This season is lasy simply because of Felicity's reaction to William. If she reacted to that like a normal human this season would have been higher.
One thing I've always hated about Arrow, the thing that drives me the most crazy. Is people lecturing Oliver about being honest or a good leader. This guy has been through more shit than all of them combined and doesn't rub their faces in it. And he's more experienced than all of them. I hate the lectures. Oliver deserves better.
Yes! The lecturing is atrocious and the fact that they pretty much have Oliver apologize to everyone at the end of season 6 is dreadful... I love Diggle but the argument/fight with Oliver in season 6 was, as stated in the video, unwatchable, and the self righteousness of Diggle and the new team members is just cringe worthy. I agree about season 4’s flaws and felicity reacting like a crazy person to the William situation with zero compassion towards it whatsoever is also cringe worthy (that’s where her character popularity plummeted I think). But through all this Arrow is still my favorite show on television and season 7 has been amazing so far.

Worst to best: Season 4: the thing I loved about arrow is that everything is so real, and Damien Darhk just ruined that. Season 3: I liked this season but why did Roy have to be accused?!?!? He was the best character Season 1: The only reason that this season is lower can be said in 1 word: Tommy... Season 6: Ricardo Diaz was probably one of the best villains ever. When we first saw him I thought he would turn into almost a Tobias Church character but he ended up having such a unique backstory. Season 2: I loved this season! The flashbacks were great, the Slade/Oliver combat was amazing, and I have nothing bad to say about it. Season 5: We finally got back to the season 1 opener, and Adrian Chase was played so well.

I'd switch 4 & 5, I don't like the whole 2 teams of vigilante dynamic, like Oliver is the OG and can kick all of their asses any day of the week, too much weak drama between the two groups
The start of Season 5 was pretty slow for me, I wasn't a fan of the new team members. The second half of season 5 was amazing. Felt just like 1 and 2 again, couldn't stop watching it
Hey Sean another great video! I am absolutely in LOVE with Arrow so when I saw your notification I almost lost my mind haha. My ranking for the show from worst to best would be: Season 3 Season 6 Season 4 Season 5 Season 1 Season 2 Season 3 for me was just unbearable because of how they had Oliver die and become a part of the League of Assassin's just to have that twist at the end. Season 6 was to much of a soap opera for me with the team splitting up and the FBI story. Season 4 wasn't to bad, I didn't mind the magic stuff. Plus we got a Constantine episode and the finale was pretty good in my opinion. Season 5 was really good with the Prometheus story, tourting Oliver and the finale was great! Ok.. these last two are interchangeable on how I'm feeling. However, Season 1 was great. The piolet was AMAZING. The finale was also great, and they had a few good 'one episode' stories. And at last, Season 2. What can I say.. the story on the island was getting really good, as you start to see Slade slip into madness. And of course the finale was freaking epic! I think I picked Season 2 for my number one slot because out of the first five seasons, I felt like this one had the best balance of the flashbacks and the present day story. 6: Season 4- Despite a strong opening, with the character finally feeling like Green Arrow and not Batman, however after the first ten episodes and the exception of episode 18, it became too much of a CW soap opera and the villain and flashbacks were horrible. There was also too much set up for other shows, and it underminded the other seasons. Just a terrible season overall. 5: Season 6- It was just lackluster. I feel as though season 5 should have ended the series, because season 6 felt boring and at times uneventful. Not a good season. I did like Deathstrokes arc and Oliver being a father, but it just didn't live up to the hype. 4: Season 3- Although the first half of the season was good, and the mid-season finale was awesome, I feel as though the show lost its way later on in the show, and it showed. It also felt too Batman at times. But it was a good season overall however. 3: Season 5- A great season that returns the show to its gritty roots, and it paid off. After season 4 lost its way entirely, season 5 returned to its grounded and vigilante style. Yet, although Oli went back to killing, if felt natural. The villain was great, Oliver being a team leader was awesome, and the flashbacks were awesome. 2: Season 1- Begun the show strongly. A grounded and gritty season, with great characters, action, storylines and budget. I loved the family drama. 1: Season 2- But season 2 was the strongest season yet. They worked out the formula, the characters grew, and there was some great twists. Also, Deathstroke as the big villain- awesome. Unlike season 4, this season did set up other shows, but did so in a way that didn't cost the story. I hope season 7 goes back to what we loved about seasons 1, 2 and 5.

Fair enough. I believe season 5 was the strongest based on a few things. An excellent villain who felt threatening and believable in his motivations, a 'team Arrow' that was as large as season 4s but didn't ever feel crampt or like anyone was left under used and finally a bad ass Black Canary.
Dave Crozier I actually agree with your points. I might have to go rewatch, maybe I was just a bit upset cause they killed off Laurel (just to comeback again), but it didn’t feel like Season 4 so I guess it was not as bad
Killing of Laurel was a huge mistake, but it did give us a better more unbelievably competent Black Canary in the form of Dinah Drake and a more complex character who Katie Cassidy plays alot better and seems to enjoy alot more in Black Siren 😁
U completely undermined Laurels powerful journey. First of all Laurels journey started in S1. She started as a DA believing that the law can save everyone, then suffered loss and went through addiction, survivors guilt, depression, and was able to rebound and overcome her illness only to witness the murder of her sister. That’s where she realized the law can’t always work and she needs to be a vigilante to not only honor her sister but to protect the city she has always taught her. She had training long before S3 AND she wasn’t perfect, cause unlike every other character we saw her struggles as BC. We saw her hit, her fall, and her get up and continue to get better and better. Her arc was the best damn thing about S3
Season 5 villain was so intimidating! Are you serious with the actor was “hammy”??. Here’s what the ranking of the season’s should be. 4: garbage storyline) 3: Lost the edge in the second half 6: First half was bad, then it picked it self up with the final 5 episodes. Season 1: The origin was great, but wasn’t as intense as season 5 and season 2. Season 2: Overall the great acting by everyone especially slade and Mrs. Queen, but the finale wasn’t as great as the season 5 one. Season 5: very high stakes throughout the season, everyone was being taken and the reveal of the villain brought the season to another level. Oliver was scared and angry and then kidnapped and it made the finale all the more rewarding. Season 5 was the best finale, the pacing and the fighting was top noch and the cliffhanger was great. Even though you knew people were going to make it back, the way chase attempted to destroy Oliver’s life was so utterly satisfying.
You pretty much got it, i'd even say that the actual drama aspect of season one felt more significant. Just reading the script gives me chills. To take your girlfriends sister on a cruise and then the shipwreckt happens. Making your return to your city just that much impactful. On one hand your family is happy but your friends and ex must be devastated you're alive.

Season 1 has always been my favorite season Season 5 was honestly such a parallel to season 1, the nostalgia and the story telling made me love it Season 2 was amazing with deathstroke, and Oliver had some really strong character development, and was such a good hero at that time Season 3 was confusing, and the ras story felt weak, although it could've been great, also felicity straight up sucked. Season 6 was just fucking weird. There were some good moments at the end but honestly you hit the nail on the head by saying everyone can be a superhero, even though Ollie had to train for so long. They just don't have the patience to write these characters training for so long. The team is too big. I'm not even gonna talk about season 4. At least my trail of bodies doesn't include my own brother 😳

First of all, love your channel! :) Arrow is one of my favorite Comics TV shows, it used to be #1 but as you'll see with my ranking it did lose a lot of momentum... #1 Season 2, amazing season... from beginning to end, what sets it apart is of course one of the best villains (and villain portrays...) DEATHSTROKE #2 Season 1, I remember couple of months ago just started to watch a random episode, and didn't stop, though Amell's acting was a bit shaky, it was a great one, and watching the mysteries unravel was a joy... and the dark archer was a great villian --- Have to say from now on, there is a huge drop in quality in my opinion --- #3 Season 5, it gets the edge because I actually liked Prometheus and the finale was awesome #4 Season 6, uneven season... I agree with you, it started well, ended well... the middle was just bad... the split of teams was irritating and ridiculous... I really dig the parts where Arrow decided to go solo... just a great reminder of Season 1 (and some of 2) #5 Season 4, they tried ... they improved over season 3, but the season got boring with time, and Darkh lost his "magic"with time... the finale was all over the place #6 Season 3, was REALLY disappointing... especially after the amazing season 2... having a big name villain was promising, but also real high stakes, it just failed to deliver
Qubone _ Thea and Laurel complained about everything that season. It was so hard to watch sometimes. Deathstroke's motivation for going after Oliver was really weird. It was built up for one and a half seasons and it could have been a number of other things that would have made much more sense than having a crush on someone they just me and blaming Oliver for her death.
When you mention how the show came together in S1 and sorta cemented in S2 with Oliver, Diggle and Felicity fighting crime, it reminds me of how The Flash was set up in S1, with Barry, Caitlin and Cisco as the trio, with Harrison Wells helping a lot the time and frequently Joe as the police contact (like Lance is for Oliver) and Barry's paternal support. Felt that's what made The Flash so great in S1, partially, along with Barry being the enthusiastic guy he was whilst dealing with the tragedy of his parents, but the following seasons sorta demolished the strong bond between the three of them and stopped character development for everyone.
Season 6 is my favorite by far every episode surprised me and was intriguing, the main villian was definitely Oliver himself and his secret identify being revealed
Wow that was really interesting (+1 subscriber)! Can you do a review on every single episode in season 7 (or at least key ones)? This is when they're coming out of course because season 7 starts in a few months. And maybe even live stream them.
I've tried to do so before. It's just too difficult with kids to be able to keep up week to week with the show. There also wasn't enough demand. I did live streams and it frequently would get odd.
AdPlayGames Not at all. It was a really great season. It just lacked in certain areas. Laurel became a superhero too easily like he pointed out. It didn't have a great finale but it had perhaps the best first half of any season of Arrow and alot of great episodes and moments in between.
For me I would do seasons 1-3 as the best seasons (maybe do season 2 as #1, then season 1 as #2 and season 3 as #3). After that the show began to go somewhat downhill, and never fully recovered. I still watch the show, I just do it when ever I have free time, as opposed to the past where I would watch it when it aired or record it and then watch it when I wake up the next morning or get home from school.
It’s because what made Arrow different is that it was real combat, and a regular person doing the combat. Once they got to season 4 they incorporated magic and powers and it just went downhill. Season 5 was excellent though
I think they screwed up a lot more than just the combat. Season 1 and 2 had insane twists like: Moira sabotaging the yacht, Thea being Malcom’s daughter. The drama and fighting were excellent. I’m wondering if directing their attention to Legends of Tomorrow was their big mistake.

Season 3 (6.5/10) - Lots of strong episodes but worse flashbacks, plotholes and underwhelming conclusion 6. Season 4 (5/10) - Started off strong but became highly inconsistent in the second half. very poor ending
The Odyssey and The Promise (Both Slade/Island episodes) are hands down my top two repeated and The finale for season 2 due to the freighter scene with Slade being torn between Shado and Oliver trying to save his friend Slade one last time. It can quote almost every Slade quote from these episodes. Manu Bennett was the best part of the show for me.
Brandon Grazioso season 2: not terrible season 3: unwatchable season 4: a few great episodes, but afer devoe switched bodys it got to silly. (got better after he took over ralph and switched back to his original body)
Season 5 was my favorite season because of Prometheus. He was the first villain apart from Deathstroke that actually made me understand why the characters hated him so much. The reason I like him more than Deathstroke is because he could be Oliver in battle easily and manipulated him so much. I loved the aspect that they used where he could confront everyone in public and they couldn't do anything. He was the only villain in Arrow that I was surprised when he was introduced as the villain. My final thing is that he was so manipulating and smart that Oliver couldn't beat him even if he tried. I mean he had to kill himself just to beat Oliver even more. I know the season may not be the best but I can say without a doubt that Prometheus was the best villain in the show.

Little Light your right season 6 is not as bad as 4. After seeing Oliver get his ass kicked all the time in season 4 its nice that they brought back the badass of the first 3 seasons, I'd say his biggest challenges were the psychological ass kicking he took from Prometheus and (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 6) literally fighting an evil version of himself in the crossover. The main bad guy of season 6 couldn't take a beat up Oliver in a fist fight and I don't even know why the new team keep thinking they have a chance of beating him.
Little Light actually season 6 was complete dog shit in my opinion compared to the other seasons and I think even season 4 YES season 4 was better than season 6.
In my opinion, Season 5 was absolutely legendary. The guy who played Prometheus is uncombarable, the story was awesome especially since Prometheus is the first antagonist to utterly break Oliver, the secrets were shocking and the flash-backs were a nice way to close up the Lian-Yu story. Hands-down my favorite season.

My ranking Best to Worst: S4: Great villain, focusing mainly on Oliver, great comeback from the season we don’t talk about (I’m just joking the best is Season 5) S1: Og cast, story flows in one direction not 50 other ones S2: Great Season, great villain, flashbacks, but sometimes the episodes leaves me a little bore S6: Decent villain, great last few episodes, Oliver as Dad, great fight scenes, but sometimes I would like to off myself this season. Dinah, Rene, Curtis were unnecessary drama (in my opinion) S3: Black Canary and Arsenal best season but Laurel was slightly annoying. But basically great first half bad second half And that’s it Edit: At last place a spin off from Arrow is The Felicity Show (Fourth season)
Season 5 should’ve been more positive when u explained it...especially since it had such a good villain...no other villain managed to break Oliver like Prometheus did to him...also the fight scenes were better planned out and looked so much better than season 4...the finale was also amazing with death stroke coming back and becoming Oliver’s ally again and every character coming to the island for one final showdown, and it ended on such a good cliff hanger that I was anxious for season 6 to come out to see what happened
You should do a video ranking your top 10 to 20 favorite arrow villians on the show so far. I saw your marvel tv villian rankings recently. It would be interesting to see you do something similar with all the dc tv shows. Well maybe just the seasons of arrow, flash, legends, supergirl, and black lightning and your opinion of the villians on each of those seaosns.
Nice list, here's mine: 6) Season 4 - Too much olicity 5) Season 3 - It took Oliver 5 years on an island, being a part time member of Argus (?) and a member of Bratva to become a vigilante but it takes Laurel only 2 months? 4) Season 6 - It was going well but then Oliver and Felicity got married, so, the plot line for me started going down hill. 3) Season 5 - Same as you, too much lecturing but I really liked Adrian Chase as Prometheus and the fact this season didn't have a part of Starling City or the just the entire city being torn down. 2) Season 2 - Great season, kept me on the edge of my seat, I still remember that I used to get goosebumps whenever Slade was shown. But it's number 2 cause this is when the Olicity bullshit started. (If y'all remember the last episode of this season) 1) Season 1 - Great! Straight up killing, no guilt when a name was cut off the list! Just perfect.
I always thought Adrian Chase was his most threatening villain tbh. He really broke Oliver down in a way no other character really has and you can tell he made a lasting impact. I always thought of Malcolm Merlin the same way I've thought of loki, he's really great as the big bad of the show but I always enjoyed him as more of an Anti-hero style with his redemption arcs and such. I think Deathstroke is heading in that direction as well although he was extremely intimidating as a villain as well. What really puts Adrian over everyone else in my opinion is his performance in the episode where he has Oliver captured and he's trying to force Oliver to reveal his big secret. It was one of the best episodes in the shows history and had probably the greatest moment that the arrowverse has to offer

I don't think I'll be able to. It's been so long. I'dd need to rewatch all 10 seasons. That's 200 hours of TV for one video!!! So it would be really difficult to do.
Also, a reason Season 6 didnt do as well is because there were no flashbacks which we got so used to so when we watched season 6, it felt like something was missing.
I definitely think that season 2 was the best purely due to the calibre of the villain - we had nearly 2 seasons of building up to Slade going mad as well as an excellent dynamic within the Queen family and in the core 3 cast members. They had so much going on and excellently built up Roy's character as well as Thea as well

Legends was a filler for my time and not really grabbed my full intrest, Supergirl I nver watch, I dont like it so you are definetly fine and I refer Arrow over Flash
Season 5: This season, while it had some issues with the new team early on, once Prometheus came into play, was just perfect. No other Arrowverse villain has had such an effect on the hero, where they've made them consider if they even are a hero, and what good they've accomplished. That Season Finale is the best episode the show's ever had.
Season 2: This is the season that Arrow really broke out. Deathstroke has become so ingrained into the Arrow mythos, and Manu Bennett's rapport with Stephen Amell is perfect. This is the season I probably have the least complaints about.
3. Season 1: It is so great to see where this great show all began. I went back and watched Season 1 after Season 5 concluded, and what a ride it was. Knowing, finally, where the flashbacks took us makes going back to this season in particular a treat. Such a fun ride.
Season 3: This was the season where I started watching. I was getting caught up in the weeks between episodes. While I was a bit confused at first, once I had caught up this was my favorite TV show. And it has remained so this entire time. I love the portrayal of Ra's, and that winter finale where he kicked Oliver off the mountain is one of my favorite Arrow memories.
Season 6: This season was really uneven. Though I really liked what we saw of Diaz, when it was all over, I felt we still barely knew anything about him. The best part of this season is the Crisis on Earth-X, but that was so good it was the best part of every season this year. Excited to see where the show goes from here.
Season 4: Arrow is my favorite TV show. Ever. This show, despite any flaws it has, means so much to me. I often find the themes the show tackles each season relating to my own life. So I still love Season 4. Damien Darhk was a good villain who had some great menacing scenes. We got Constantine back. Even when Arrow is at it's weakest, I still love it. This season is lasy simply because of Felicity's reaction to William. If she reacted to that like a normal human this season would have been higher.
One thing I've always hated about Arrow, the thing that drives me the most crazy. Is people lecturing Oliver about being honest or a good leader. This guy has been through more shit than all of them combined and doesn't rub their faces in it. And he's more experienced than all of them. I hate the lectures. Oliver deserves better.

Yes! The lecturing is atrocious and the fact that they pretty much have Oliver apologize to everyone at the end of season 6 is dreadful... I love Diggle but the argument/fight with Oliver in season 6 was, as stated in the video, unwatchable, and the self righteousness of Diggle and the new team members is just cringe worthy. I agree about season 4’s flaws and felicity reacting like a crazy person to the William situation with zero compassion towards it whatsoever is also cringe worthy (that’s where her character popularity plummeted I think). But through all this Arrow is still my favorite show on television and season 7 has been amazing so far.

Season 6: Ricardo Diaz was probably one of the best villains ever. When we first saw him I thought he would turn into almost a Tobias Church character but he ended up having such a unique backstory.
Season 2: I loved this season! The flashbacks were great, the Slade/Oliver combat was amazing, and I have nothing bad to say about it.
Season 5: We finally got back to the season 1 opener, and Adrian Chase was played so well.

Season 3 for me was just unbearable because of how they had Oliver die and become a part of the League of Assassin's just to have that twist at the end. Season 6 was to much of a soap opera for me with the team splitting up and the FBI story. Season 4 wasn't to bad, I didn't mind the magic stuff. Plus we got a Constantine episode and the finale was pretty good in my opinion. Season 5 was really good with the Prometheus story, tourting Oliver and the finale was great! Ok.. these last two are interchangeable on how I'm feeling. However, Season 1 was great. The piolet was AMAZING. The finale was also great, and they had a few good 'one episode' stories. And at last, Season 2. What can I say.. the story on the island was getting really good, as you start to see Slade slip into madness. And of course the finale was freaking epic!
I think I picked Season 2 for my number one slot because out of the first five seasons, I felt like this one had the best balance of the flashbacks and the present day story.

6: Season 4- Despite a strong opening, with the character finally feeling like Green Arrow and not Batman, however after the first ten episodes and the exception of episode 18, it became too much of a CW soap opera and the villain and flashbacks were horrible. There was also too much set up for other shows, and it underminded the other seasons. Just a terrible season overall.
5: Season 6- It was just lackluster. I feel as though season 5 should have ended the series, because season 6 felt boring and at times uneventful. Not a good season. I did like Deathstrokes arc and Oliver being a father, but it just didn't live up to the hype.
4: Season 3- Although the first half of the season was good, and the mid-season finale was awesome, I feel as though the show lost its way later on in the show, and it showed. It also felt too Batman at times. But it was a good season overall however.
3: Season 5- A great season that returns the show to its gritty roots, and it paid off. After season 4 lost its way entirely, season 5 returned to its grounded and vigilante style. Yet, although Oli went back to killing, if felt natural. The villain was great, Oliver being a team leader was awesome, and the flashbacks were awesome.
2: Season 1- Begun the show strongly. A grounded and gritty season, with great characters, action, storylines and budget. I loved the family drama.
1: Season 2- But season 2 was the strongest season yet. They worked out the formula, the characters grew, and there was some great twists. Also, Deathstroke as the big villain- awesome. Unlike season 4, this season did set up other shows, but did so in a way that didn't cost the story.
I hope season 7 goes back to what we loved about seasons 1, 2 and 5.

Fair enough. I believe season 5 was the strongest based on a few things. An excellent villain who felt threatening and believable in his motivations, a 'team Arrow' that was as large as season 4s but didn't ever feel crampt or like anyone was left under used and finally a bad ass Black Canary.
Dave Crozier I actually agree with your points. I might have to go rewatch, maybe I was just a bit upset cause they killed off Laurel (just to comeback again), but it didn’t feel like Season 4 so I guess it was not as bad
Killing of Laurel was a huge mistake, but it did give us a better more unbelievably competent Black Canary in the form of Dinah Drake and a more complex character who Katie Cassidy plays alot better and seems to enjoy alot more in Black Siren 😁

U completely undermined Laurels powerful journey. First of all Laurels journey started in S1. She started as a DA believing that the law can save everyone, then suffered loss and went through addiction, survivors guilt, depression, and was able to rebound and overcome her illness only to witness the murder of her sister. That’s where she realized the law can’t always work and she needs to be a vigilante to not only honor her sister but to protect the city she has always taught her. She had training long before S3 AND she wasn’t perfect, cause unlike every other character we saw her struggles as BC. We saw her hit, her fall, and her get up and continue to get better and better. Her arc was the best damn thing about S3

6: First half was bad, then it picked it self up with the final 5 episodes.
Season 1: The origin was great, but wasn’t as intense as season 5 and season 2.
Season 2: Overall the great acting by everyone especially slade and Mrs. Queen, but the finale wasn’t as great as the season 5 one.
Season 5: very high stakes throughout the season, everyone was being taken and the reveal of the villain brought the season to another level. Oliver was scared and angry and then kidnapped and it made the finale all the more rewarding. Season 5 was the best finale, the pacing and the fighting was top noch and the cliffhanger was great. Even though you knew people were going to make it back, the way chase attempted to destroy Oliver’s life was so utterly satisfying.

Season 5 was honestly such a parallel to season 1, the nostalgia and the story telling made me love it
Season 2 was amazing with deathstroke, and Oliver had some really strong character development, and was such a good hero at that time
Season 3 was confusing, and the ras story felt weak, although it could've been great, also felicity straight up sucked.
Season 6 was just fucking weird. There were some good moments at the end but honestly you hit the nail on the head by saying everyone can be a superhero, even though Ollie had to train for so long. They just don't have the patience to write these characters training for so long. The team is too big.
I'm not even gonna talk about season 4. At least my trail of bodies doesn't include my own brother 😳

First of all, love your channel! :) Arrow is one of my favorite Comics TV shows, it used to be #1 but as you'll see with my ranking it did lose a lot of momentum...
#1 Season 2, amazing season... from beginning to end, what sets it apart is of course one of the best villains (and villain portrays...) DEATHSTROKE
#2 Season 1, I remember couple of months ago just started to watch a random episode, and didn't stop, though Amell's acting was a bit shaky, it was a great one, and watching the mysteries unravel was a joy... and the dark archer was a great villian

#3 Season 5, it gets the edge because I actually liked Prometheus and the finale was awesome

Qubone _ Thea and Laurel complained about everything that season. It was so hard to watch sometimes. Deathstroke's motivation for going after Oliver was really weird. It was built up for one and a half seasons and it could have been a number of other things that would have made much more sense than having a crush on someone they just me and blaming Oliver for her death.

When you mention how the show came together in S1 and sorta cemented in S2 with Oliver, Diggle and Felicity fighting crime, it reminds me of how The Flash was set up in S1, with Barry, Caitlin and Cisco as the trio, with Harrison Wells helping a lot the time and frequently Joe as the police contact (like Lance is for Oliver) and Barry's paternal support. Felt that's what made The Flash so great in S1, partially, along with Barry being the enthusiastic guy he was whilst dealing with the tragedy of his parents, but the following seasons sorta demolished the strong bond between the three of them and stopped character development for everyone.

I've tried to do so before. It's just too difficult with kids to be able to keep up week to week with the show. There also wasn't enough demand. I did live streams and it frequently would get odd.

AdPlayGames Not at all. It was a really great season. It just lacked in certain areas. Laurel became a superhero too easily like he pointed out. It didn't have a great finale but it had perhaps the best first half of any season of Arrow and alot of great episodes and moments in between.

For me I would do seasons 1-3 as the best seasons (maybe do season 2 as #1, then season 1 as #2 and season 3 as #3). After that the show began to go somewhat downhill, and never fully recovered. I still watch the show, I just do it when ever I have free time, as opposed to the past where I would watch it when it aired or record it and then watch it when I wake up the next morning or get home from school.

It’s because what made Arrow different is that it was real combat, and a regular person doing the combat. Once they got to season 4 they incorporated magic and powers and it just went downhill. Season 5 was excellent though
I think they screwed up a lot more than just the combat. Season 1 and 2 had insane twists like: Moira sabotaging the yacht, Thea being Malcom’s daughter. The drama and fighting were excellent.
I’m wondering if directing their attention to Legends of Tomorrow was their big mistake.

The Odyssey and The Promise
(Both Slade/Island episodes) are hands down my top two repeated and The finale for season 2 due to the freighter scene with Slade being torn between Shado and Oliver trying to save his friend Slade one last time. It can quote almost every Slade quote from these episodes. Manu Bennett was the best part of the show for me.

Season 5 was my favorite season because of Prometheus. He was the first villain apart from Deathstroke that actually made me understand why the characters hated him so much. The reason I like him more than Deathstroke is because he could be Oliver in battle easily and manipulated him so much. I loved the aspect that they used where he could confront everyone in public and they couldn't do anything. He was the only villain in Arrow that I was surprised when he was introduced as the villain. My final thing is that he was so manipulating and smart that Oliver couldn't beat him even if he tried. I mean he had to kill himself just to beat Oliver even more. I know the season may not be the best but I can say without a doubt that Prometheus was the best villain in the show.

Little Light your right season 6 is not as bad as 4. After seeing Oliver get his ass kicked all the time in season 4 its nice that they brought back the badass of the first 3 seasons, I'd say his biggest challenges were the psychological ass kicking he took from Prometheus and (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 6) literally fighting an evil version of himself in the crossover. The main bad guy of season 6 couldn't take a beat up Oliver in a fist fight and I don't even know why the new team keep thinking they have a chance of beating him.
Fr s6 was ass, only interesting dynamic was the whole Oliver being investigated and being incarcerated
Little Light actually season 6 was complete dog shit in my opinion compared to the other seasons and I think even season 4 YES season 4 was better than season 6.
In my opinion, Season 5 was absolutely legendary. The guy who played Prometheus is uncombarable, the story was awesome especially since Prometheus is the first antagonist to utterly break Oliver, the secrets were shocking and the flash-backs were a nice way to close up the Lian-Yu story. Hands-down my favorite season.

Season 6 are underated, it's that in season 6 we saw a lot of the stuff before.
1 and 2 are good.
The first half of 3 and 5 are fine.
The rest is pretty shitty.
George Lucas 5x16, 5x17, 5x21, 5x22, 5x23 are amazing, also 10,11, 12 and 15 are really good. 18 and 19 are meh
True, there was quite a bit of 5 that was good. but the Felicity drama kept it from being great

S4: Great villain, focusing mainly on Oliver, great comeback from the season we don’t talk about (I’m just joking the best is Season 5)
S1: Og cast, story flows in one direction not 50 other ones
S2: Great Season, great villain, flashbacks, but sometimes the episodes leaves me a little bore
S6: Decent villain, great last few episodes, Oliver as Dad, great fight scenes, but sometimes I would like to off myself this season. Dinah, Rene, Curtis were unnecessary drama (in my opinion)
S3: Black Canary and Arsenal best season but Laurel was slightly annoying. But basically great first half bad second half

Season 5 should’ve been more positive when u explained it...especially since it had such a good villain...no other villain managed to break Oliver like Prometheus did to him...also the fight scenes were better planned out and looked so much better than season 4...the finale was also amazing with death stroke coming back and becoming Oliver’s ally again and every character coming to the island for one final showdown, and it ended on such a good cliff hanger that I was anxious for season 6 to come out to see what happened

You should do a video ranking your top 10 to 20 favorite arrow villians on the show so far. I saw your marvel tv villian rankings recently. It would be interesting to see you do something similar with all the dc tv shows. Well maybe just the seasons of arrow, flash, legends, supergirl, and black lightning and your opinion of the villians on each of those seaosns.
I don't agree with this list but the way he really showed his opinion is what most youtubers should learn.

6) Season 4 - Too much olicity
5) Season 3 - It took Oliver 5 years on an island, being a part time member of Argus (?) and a member of Bratva to become a vigilante but it takes Laurel only 2 months?
4) Season 6 - It was going well but then Oliver and Felicity got married, so, the plot line for me started going down hill.
3) Season 5 - Same as you, too much lecturing but I really liked Adrian Chase as Prometheus and the fact this season didn't have a part of Starling City or the just the entire city being torn down.
2) Season 2 - Great season, kept me on the edge of my seat, I still remember that I used to get goosebumps whenever Slade was shown. But it's number 2 cause this is when the Olicity bullshit started. (If y'all remember the last episode of this season)
1) Season 1 - Great! Straight up killing, no guilt when a name was cut off the list! Just perfect.
I personally love season 3 because it is when Roy really becomes a hero.....ARSENAL
I always thought Adrian Chase was his most threatening villain tbh. He really broke Oliver down in a way no other character really has and you can tell he made a lasting impact. I always thought of Malcolm Merlin the same way I've thought of loki, he's really great as the big bad of the show but I always enjoyed him as more of an Anti-hero style with his redemption arcs and such. I think Deathstroke is heading in that direction as well although he was extremely intimidating as a villain as well. What really puts Adrian over everyone else in my opinion is his performance in the episode where he has Oliver captured and he's trying to force Oliver to reveal his big secret. It was one of the best episodes in the shows history and had probably the greatest moment that the arrowverse has to offer

I was debating with myself if S3 was better or worse than S6, but it was better. One went downhill at the second half, second went downhill at the beggining and later went uphill.

Also, a reason Season 6 didnt do as well is because there were no flashbacks which we got so used to so when we watched season 6, it felt like something was missing.

season 6 of arrow is very underrated the last 7 episodes were absolutely epic
I definitely think that season 2 was the best purely due to the calibre of the villain - we had nearly 2 seasons of building up to Slade going mad as well as an excellent dynamic within the Queen family and in the core 3 cast members. They had so much going on and excellently built up Roy's character as well as Thea as well
Season one was absolutely the best because Oliver didn't need help to be a vigilante. He could take down entire armies by himself. He was badass.
