This looks like one of those "works great until it doesn't" type things .. definitely need to brace it up some.. great idea and clearly it did what it needed to though!! 👍👍
Dang man this is the flip floppin best idea on here son, it will work, that table was a lot more heavier than an engine. I will only be using it for engines
Folding screw jack is what's needed for that stability
Awesome, i like it. I was just thinking about doing this, did a search, and yours was the first video :)
Quick note (probably stating the obvious), until one is able to put feet on this, i would think jack stands would work well to brace it.
Looks good!
I did kinda the same idea but on the other side I welded 2 trailer jacks with heavy duty all terrain wheel to help support the weight but still be able to roll link below
Do you have the link?
Neat concept but seems like youd want a swivel yo be able to lift things into the same truck
Pretty cool, needs bracing so it don't break your hitch off.
Pretty great idea! Just worried about it bending the shit outta my hitch receiver lol
Jack stands should help with that. Could put 2 under the back of the hoist frame and one directly under the receiver.
What thickness of tubing did you use?
Building a wheel frame out from it
Then, adding and engine :)
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
What wall thickness was your square tubing?
cheap ! thickness ! 😆
It will break
Cool idea but defo needs to be solid 2" bar not tubing.
