I love you, Bobbie Wygant. Thank you so much for having a UA-cam channel. I used to watch you with my grandma back in the 1990s. We felt so special and connected to your show because we also live in Dallas. Such a wonderful childhood past time. I only wish she were still alive so we could walk down memory lane together.
You are the best, Bobbie!!! I’m only 37, but I have an older soul and I LOVE your interviews!! You’ve interviewed all of the greats!! What a career, God Bless you!
I’m British so was unaware of Bobbie until I came across this channel. What a wonderful and fascinating archive, with a gracious and interesting interviewer.
Not sure if Bobbie reads these comments but thank you so much for posting these interviews, such a lovely woman and a true professional especially as some of these actors can be very egotistical. Love that we see the 'real' them just before they go live! Michael J Fox, Brendan Fraser, Tim Dalton, Michael Douglas, Patrick Swayze RIP in particular seem very nice. Wishing you well from the UK Bobbie. Take care x

You were never cynical or arrogant, I just want to say thank you for your work and for this archive and GOD Bless you with many more years to enjoy the fruit of your work. 🙏
I remember Harold Taft fondly, in fact growing up, I was born in late 1949, my Mom and Pat Taft, Harold's Wife, were best friends since I was 4 years of age. Back then Pat was married to someone else and they lived just 2 doors down from our house in Richland Hills. Years later, Harold and Pat met and eventually got married. Pat and my Mom stayed best friends and as the years went by our two families spent a lot of time together like a lot of families did in those days. So Harrold to me is someone I knew for years and I always considered a good friend. He was a good man and always had a smile on his face and always had a positive attitude. We had a lot of great conversations even though I was just a teenager at the time, that was one of the things so great about him. I fact, Bobbie you are just a year younger than my Mom, she was born in 1925, we lost her in 1995 to cancer also. Love your channel, I can tell I'm gonna spend a lot on time on here for a while.

Hey, Mrs. Wygant! I saw your interviews with Tina Turner before her comeback in 1979-1980 and then at her peak in 1985, as well as LaWanda Page! So glad that you’re here with us at 93 years young so that Millennials and Gen Z’ers like myself can appreciate your huge contribution to broadcasting! ❤️❤️❤️ Hope to be interviewed by you one day!
I just discovered Bobbi's channel last night. I'm addicted. She is so much fun. My favorites so far are her three Bill Murray interviews and Michael Palin from Monty Python fame. Hilarious!!
Lovely overview of history and her career! Bonus advice on staying flexible and open to change to have an enduring career over 70 years. The gravitas of JFK assassination day and the humor of recounting not to let long lenses take close views up one's nostrils - what range! Rewards of stage view of The Beatles and tea with her hero's grandaughter are heartening as well. Thank you for a well organized look behind the scenes. The book is worthwhile. I wonder if the intern cum archivist shares this digital archive with The Smithsonian and the Paley Museum of Broadcasting(the name of which may have been updated or tweakedif I am in error)?
My new favorite channel. Such a great interviewer, and wonderful collection of interviews. Mrs Wygant has been a staple of DFW media for as long as I can remember. I’m so glad she’s doing well, and so glad she shared this treasure trove of interviews.
Bobbie's interviews are really interesting for being only a few minutes long each. She asks a great mix of personal questions and more detailed informational questions. And she often smoothly sneaks in some questions that could be seen as controversial or sensitive without offending her guests. I've added some information to Wikipedia about various movies from some of her interviews that revealed details not known from other sources.

Even though “Under the Rainbow” with actor Chevy Chase & Carrie Fisher was not well received in the box office, I really enjoyed watching the whole cast of that 1981 movie, especially Billy Barty who played the villain. I really hope some cast member interviews from that movie will one day surface. I also noticed that no video archive interviews from the “Grease 2” cast have ever surfaced. Being a child from the 80’s, “Grease 2” was so much fun to sing along to✨Thank you Bobbie for the “Real Genius” director link. The whole cast from that movie was a perfect ensemble💫 Here is one of the only few existing 80’s interviews with “Goonies” cast member Jeff Cohen who played “Chunk”. The interview is very funny))) ua-cam.com/video/BreIecaXH6s/v-deo.html

Hello! Who do I contact if I would like to do an interview with Bobbie Wygant? I have a podcast called "All of the Classics" talking about vintage Hollywood. I also grew up in Lafayette and became a journalist. Such a distinguished career! I would love to promote the memoir too.
