I've longed to see the $500,000 Pokémon question in clear quality again. I remember seeing this at 9 years old amazed that I knew the answer to a $500,000 question on the show. Thanks for uploading the episode. To this day, Toby Moore is the most famous non-million dollar winner that didn't llama out that I will always remember. One day I will breed a competitive Jigglypuff that I'll nickname after him. Originally I had the idea to nickname the Jigglypuff "Regis" because of Toby Moore's appearance on the big money winners episodes of _Millionaire_ where Toby told the story of a Jigglypuff he had Regis autograph & then was auctioned off to charity... But then I remembered that all of my Regi Pokémon as well as my Aegislash all have "Regis" somewhere in their names! XD ... So it's only fair Toby has the Jigglypuff named after him.
On my copy of pokemon heart gold I named my jigglypuff after jet 1 of my favorite sonic characters his battle music is a little more extended on the London copy of mario and sonic at the Olympics as the developers chose dream discus as his 1 on 1 event;)
@@poolside123canadian7 Yeah, if you were a grown-up in 1999 you *might* have known about Pikachu because that was everywhere, but you wouldn't have known Squirtle and Jigglypuff unless you played the games yourself and that's something that adults just didn't do back then. The only hope most adults in 1999 would have with that question is if they had read Lord of the Rings and knew about Frodo.
I was trying to watch the full November series but I realized that two episodes weren’t there and I was like, I can’t watch the full series without those episodes. 😂
I had an art teacher in elementary school, and while she wasn't the kindest teacher, her lesson plan involved teaching a male and female artist for each letter of the alphabet (whenever possible). Thus, I remembered the Seurat question, and we did a project on him involving pointillism.
Pong was invented independently by a guy in Oregon City first. Messing around with an oscilloscope. He never sought to patent it or do anything with it.

This is probably one of the best episodes ever. $500,000 Pokemon question and John Carpenter! Legendary!
I even answered C correctly on Toby’s $250,000 question!!

The infamous Pokemon question!! OMG I remember screaming at my television!! This would have been the easiest $500,000. :D Lol
Yeah but pokemon was only a few years old by then. I know that’s probably the easiest one but only to kids.😊

I knew Al's $250,000 question INSTANTLY.
$250,000 is not bad for Toby Moore to take home
It is actually the Road Runner says Meep, Meep, not Beep, Beep.
It is my first mistake I have to fix.
5:24 is what you came for
My favorite Pokémon, Frodo
He only answered two questions before the episode ends, but I bet that John Carpenter will win at least $32,000 (maybe even $64,000!).
yes, and he won $1,000,000
Understatement of the year!
Wow the John Carpenter episode
Never understood why early in the series they took away the chairs and consoles during fastest finger

Frodo was not from The Hobbit, Regis...
At least not until the first movie, but that doesn't count in 1999.
Frodo is Bilbo Baggins's nephew and was from "The Lord of the Rings"!
FRODO WAS IN THE HOBBIT!!!!!
@@GAME-SHOW-FAN Nope, he was in the Lord of the Rings.
YES HE WAS IN THE HOBBIT!!!!!
Part 1 of you know what!

That Yellowstone Murder Zone in Idaho. Look it up.
Do you have season 5 ep 47? thank you
Frodo was a Hobbit
nteresting the prevous video had a contestant trying to get in hot seat named i thik ladean inouye then this 1 that fastest finger q lol

That Pokémon question should've been in the $100-500 question range. That way, it would've not thrown that contestant off.
Pokemon was new and not that well known in 1999.
Frodo is from The Hobbit.

$64K to guess the spoken language in Brazil? It's official the American version of WWTBAM is dummified compared to the English one. No offence.
