- Take astronomy notes or upload Millionaire episodes? To be fair, you could make a case that I could learn more from watching Millionaire but whatevs. Anyway, this show starts with Jade Smith going for $2k with three lifelines.

i can’t believe Jade didn’t know the answer was flan.
He should have used a lifeline, don’t guess, anyway at least he gets $1,000. Bad luck Jade, missing out an opportunity to win $2,080,000.
When you’re in that seat, you’re not sure the Pope is Catholic. And I should know; I was the Hot Seat contestant right before Jade.
He could have misread the question. It's pressure being in that seat.
As a fan of 🇲🇽 Mexican food I know for a fact that tacos 🌮 burritos 🌯 and enchiladas require tortillas

He must have thought a corn tortilla wasn't a tortilla. I was sort of confused because I thought Flan was the obvious choice but I wasn't sure if an enchilada uses a tortilla. Although I do think he rushed it because if I had more time to think about it I'd realize all the enchilada's I've eaten have had tortillas.
@@zeaferjones1404 yeah he rushed too much. flan was a pretty clear answer. they coulda had this at the 300 dollar level with how easy it is.
If one doesn't know Mexican food it might not be so obvious, because in Continental cuisine a flan is a type of crusted torte, and a tortilla is a thick egg dish, like a frittata.

I had a reasonable idea that was correct, having studies world literature with a focus in 19th century Russian works in college. Seems like it would be obscure for most in general.

Nancy's article on the Millionaire wiki says this was the first time in the US in which the wrong music cue was played. This is obviously wrong, as it happened other times such as:
February 1 2000 (a final answer confirmation was played too high somehow)
October 24 and February 29 2000 (when a contestant was about to see question ten)
September 3 2000 (After an ask the audience vote, the answer was confirmed and correct; the contestant agreed with them.)

I am not the brightest crayon but I knew all of Nancy’s questions. I’m confused how she didn’t know the Peter Pan question. Nothing. And come on you live in the us and don’t know it was Spain? Bahhhh so frustrating lol
I was debating between Peter and Pippin (she's famous here in Finland too) but Peter fit the theme better. Also, I said England too... technically vikings had "found" the US before but they didn't settle there permanently.
