    Are traps still broken? I can't seem to find reliable up to date information on the topic.

      Though I'm not 100% sure because I haven't played this game for a while, it is likely 'still broken'. Guerilla has never released new patches on PC version since then, so... I don't think they will do that in the future, either. I suspect that this problem is related to the difference of framerate between PC and consoles, but who knows? It's a real shame because this game is such a masterpiece...

      @@SuperShadowElf That's too bad. Not having traps for the locked loadout arena challenges makes them a miserable experience when they're your heaviest hitters. I read a post where someone tried to limit the FPS to 30 and 60, but it didn't help, so it must be caused by something else.

    Man i have the same issue like the traps they are very good in the arena but the are broken
    Is there a patch that fix it??
    I didn't update My games since reeles

      No, not yet. Guerilla has not mentioned on this issue at all, for whatever reason. I understand that this is quite frustrating when you go for the Arena challenges in VH difficulty or above. If you have some time to spare, please send a bug report to Guerilla.
      I do hope they will fix this shortly.

    Doesnt appear broken to me. I think the game doesn't allow for the same damage type to be stacked like that, and will likely have an internal limit. It shouldn't make any sense that stacking 5 explosives on top of eachother would produce 5 times the damage, even in real life it would hit diminishing returns as the blasts counteract eachother. Some are also clearly outside the hitbox of the machine. Try making the pattern a lot bigger around the machine. This by the way also happened in HZD, you stack 3 tripwires on eachother and only one counted.
    The only thing that could potentially cause it to miss damage entirely (so not a single damage point) is a timing issue caused by unlocked framerate. So a 30fps cap (purely for testing) would be a thing to try. But I dont expect it to ever work as you think it should. Because it would utterly break combat, and not make much sense if you think about it.

      I think you replied to me in the steam forum.
      To make long story short, this is completely a bug alright. On console version, they work fine in that way like in the video.
      And the damage system in this game doesn't work like you anticipate. I played this game on ps4 2 years ago.
      Your idea of same type damage limit is not applied to this game.

      5 traps should do 5traps damage, HFW is not real world. on PS% it works nice and as should.
