I'm a Windows/Linux user 50/50. I don't think Linux users are weird, nor do I think Windows users are weird. I dual-boot Ubuntu 21.10 and Windows 11. Weird is not even the right word though. I mean you are what you're used to doing, whatever that is. It doesn't matter, it's all personal preference. I think you need to look at it from a different perspective, it's not all black and white. I think Windows users can learn to love Linux and Linux users can learn to love Windows (in a certain way), it's all about their personal ability to adapt to change at any time and not instantly criticize everything the first time you see it, or the second time. People need to learn on how to love change and embrace it. There's something to say for Linux and Windows users. All this hate within both communities needs to cease, we need to learn on how to work together.
@@Horaheehoo True, what I like about Ubuntu so far is how clean it is. The reason I dual-boot is because I produce music, so sometimes I need to switch over. I know you can make music on Linux too, but there are a few plugins (VSTs) that work better on Windows at this moment.
@Watcher I know, but still wanted to give my take on the way both communities are sometimes behaving against each other. I think people should be more open minded.
@Watcher Yeah, it's too bad, because there's so much to win if the communities had a different attitude. I have! I know his video's. I'm used to FL Studio and I already have LMMS. I'm trying to get used to the software at this moment, because I'm trying to make the switch.
@Watcher I know it's worth it, because using Linux just makes me feel good (sounds cheesy, but then it's not). What I'm doing now is for web browsing I use Linux and if I need to do anything serious for music I switch to Windows, but most of the time I'm actually using Linux at this moment, so it feels like I made a 75% switch, where as the other 25 is music production. I barely play any games these days, because of music (I actually enjoy that more than gaming, so I don't need Windows for gaming to be honest). I've also done a course in Linux at my work to get to know the operating system, because I was a vivid Windows user, but always open for change. I feel more represented by the Linux philosophy of freedom, open-source and privacy. I don't like operating systems being proprietary, because it creates the feeling that things are being hidden and I don't like that. In Linux you can just opt out of data telemetry and then it's done, with Windows it's routed throughout the entire OS, everything's based of getting user data.

Reminds me of a weird comment I had to write in my linux c code: Daemonize child to make the parent the init process which will reap the zombie child
Windows 10 in the background is so funny 😂
Towards the end of the video, a BSOD would have been a nice touch I think...

This video is so true. So very true.
00:06 Ubuntu bro can make a call, even when the phone is locked
That thumb nail might explain things
LOL, you missed the sticky bit.
XD, i usually take things out of context for the comedy aspect, but i never realize this one, by the way "finger"?, i don't know that one
Using Linux is more satisfying than windows. Unless an arch upgrade comes that breaks everything u made after hours.
Windows has yucky drms, ill stick arch
The other day my terminal looked like `$ bat sign`
Don't worry we are just regular people.... So when are you ordering the programming socks?
The legendary programming socks 👌
When they see your wallpaper is a photo of RMS in that pose. You know which one. 😂
Like, literally im a high schooler and im the ONLY one who uses linux in my classroom. One of my friends have heard about ubuntu, but doesnt know about nothin else, forget arch
I can' C: why windows users would think that
I didn't know you had a twin brother! 😉😁😁
Oooooh , i'm switching to Windows - Gimp here i come!!!! (Just kidding - my dominatrix would not let me)
But you can run GIMP on Windows, if that's what you want
That ringtone gave me a panic attack
Because they are...........I think Windows user never give Linux users a second thought and usually not even a first thought.
You made my day sir, thank you!
The majority of Windows users is not aware of the existence of Linux.
i dont even know if it's a bad thing though...
Linux's users aren't weird.
They are just delusional about how good is their OS, and what is their position in the "OS food chain" XD
This claim is definitely true for most users. However, for me, my reasons for using Linux are quite weird.
I don’t care about how good the OS, or really the family of OSes is, I just want to be different from everybody else.
Are you a Windows or macOS user? Just curious.
@@SylveonMujigaeOfficial I was using both Win and Linux, but recently only Win.
As always, I got pissed off because given app on Linux even tho quite good it had weird design choices which I found absurdly annoying. Probably my OCD or something.
Previously, I kicked out Linux for lack of either monitor support during installation or lack of support for USB audio card.
Basically, I refuse to tryhard and spend days digging for a solution just to use Linux.
Hey DT, I have a system with an i3 9100 (with integrated graphics) with 8gb ram. When I tried to install Linux mint, it did not install. I tried many other distros to install on it. But none of them installed. What Happened was the installer crashed. But when I used the same Linux mint bootable USB on a core 2 duo, it installed and works fine. Changing USB drives and ports didn’t work. What could be the reason?

Windoze updates taking 5-6 hours on average tying up the system while doing so. Is that normal?
