It was Family Circle magazine and she beat out Tipper Gore's cookie recipe. This was told on an episode of Cook's Country which I have seen serval time on PBS.

Great idea. I hate coconut in baking . They put it in these cookies for texture. For me, coconut belongs in a cocktail, and then its creamy, right?
