      I promise if I put lipstick 💄 on my training knife and tries to cut and stab you, you will end up with lipstick on both lips 💋 above your wrist and large red stripes on the inside of your left leg above the knee, all krav Maga people i meet long time ago i asked how the best approach is because I'm stabbed and cut so many times and many times people been trying to do it. But when a really good figther surprise stabbed me and then tries to rob me, I went for the knife and got a extra cut in my hand ✋ then I attacked he's head with a hard kick after pretending to be weakened by the stab in my chest, but I didn't really feel it that much because I got so surprised. Anyways I got away from the situation while he was laying on the staircase with legs up and head downwards the stairs... I have some nasty pictures and stuff from it, i bleed so much my pants 👖 was red in the front so I posted it on Fb. I have pms etc,,, but my friends didn't think it was any humor in it so Ill never do it there again but maybe here

    At first I thought this was an absolutely unrealistic depiction of getting attacked by someone wielding a knife. Then I realize, 90% of my time is spent going to, or coming from home and running errands. In that scenario, it would most likely be a tweaker who would draw a knife on me and not a highly trained soldier, so, yeah...I think this is a fantastic method!

    This whole series is great, no matter what some people say.... it is good advice.... alot of this stuff I have learnt on my first two months with my Jeet Kune Do teacher.... some techniques are safe and work, others are not and will harm you if the opponent is skilled... there is no safe way to disarm a knife with bare hands... absolutely none...!!
    And thats because you can never know the knife holders skills....
    Which is why you should never be without a weapon of your own, preferably nunchucks, if a gun is not legal to carry with you...
    With nunchucks in my hands there is nobody on this planet that can harm me with a knife...!! Well, maybe Chuck Norris can,,,, but he is not human...!!
    Seriously now, dont slam these lessons.... they do help.
    cheers.

      And what if a man came up behind and put a knife in your back? or a bullet in your head? or threw his arms around your waist and took you down, and then killed you? No matter how good you think you are, there's always someone better. And against a true surprise attack, ie, an assassination, there is no true defense.

    I do krav and the first thing i was ever taught was if someone pulls a knife out on you and you have one you should always deploy your knife or gun or whatever it may be this is just a last resort type of technique those of you who do some sort of combat art know there is NO AND I REPEAT NO FULL PROOF move or move set that can and will always 100% of the time work its just not realistic. So train in these different situations all the time with a constantly varied situation just to improve your situational awareness and execution. Thats really all you can do and also live with that mindset of always being ready for the worst.

    pratico krav maga anche io e sono istruttore di primo livello... ti posso dire che la prima tecnica del video è bella da mostrare in palestra, ma in strada non è applicabile, spero vivamente che nessuno provi ad applicarla perché si farebbe veramente male contro un vero aggressore armato di coltello.

    • @kknos
      @kknos 7 років тому +1

      Concordo con te. A prescindere che l' agressore il braccio armato di coltello non lo tiene né teso e né immobile, un minimo movimento di quest' ultimo ti affetta la mano con la quale cerchi di fare la mossa indicata. Io consiglierei di non farlo.

    • @flavianofranceschi5179
      @flavianofranceschi5179 4 роки тому

      Sono d'accordo, chi ti vuole colpire con un coltello ti viene contro con foga e violenza e ti colpisce ripetutamente, il mio consiglio difronte un arma è semplicenete di dare il portafogli e scappare appena possibile ,poi certo se è un un'esecuzione provi a fare di tutto.

    • @djvar94
      @djvar94 3 роки тому

      Assolutamente d'accordo. Soprattutto se è uno con buona massa muscolare o che sa afferrare saldamente un coltello in quel caso puoi provare e colpire forte tanto quanto vuoi ma non starà certo a lanciare il coltello via come fanno in palestra. A stento riuscirai a muovere appena il loro braccio e la prossima cosa che ti vedrai sarà un coltello ficcato da qualche parte nel tuo corpo, possibilmente anche più di una volta. Quando si tratta di affrontare un attacco con coltello o sai veramente cosa fare o meglio cercare di attaccare per difesa con semplici trick inefficaci come il primo in questo video o si richia di essere severamente feriti o persino uccisi. Mi rende un po' triste però vedere istruttori che insegnano queste mosse inutili piuttosto che insegnare senso comune o almeno metodi veramente efficaci per non rischiare la vita, altrimenti scappate e a gambe!!!!

    Well this is only for the scenario where you know for sure that the robber is holding the knife loosely asking for your wallet. I don't think merely slapping the hand would disarm him in an actual fight. The wrist lock disarm seems more useful.

    • @RoundeyeSamurai
      @RoundeyeSamurai 8 років тому

      +Zavius Firerave at the 0:58 mark he specifically shows the striking area on the back of the hand. It is a very sensitive area with lots of small bones and tight tendons, especially tight when gripping something. A slap, or backhand with knuckles can do a lot of damage to that area. I had two bones in my right hand broken by a block while sparring with my karate instructor...now imagine if his intent was to break my hand?
      The wrist lock disarm is useful, if your intent is to keep the engagement going, but if you are in a situation where you only need to escape to the end of an alley, or to a safer spot, then the disarm and pass is your best option.

    I take Krav Maga and trust me. This shit works, I'm a cashier at the Waffle House, and if you don't know. The Waffle House has a lot of trouble. (One of the reasons I took Krav Maga) and I went our from behind the cabinet, to retrieve a purse that an old woman had dropped and she had a hard time picking it up. So, I get the bag and the guy behind her in line pulls a knife on me, and tells me to give him the purse. I then drop the woman's purse, and use the hand grab and groin kick, pushing his arm back behind him, then immeditly preshering the wrist, wich allows his fingers to loose all grip I then took the knife from him and he ran. (Luckily they caught him) but I have first hand expieriece with this, so anyone who says this doesn't work. You don't know what you are talking about.

    Had two guys try to stab me with a broken bottle. I was a lot smaller than them, so, when the stab came to my face, instinctively I ducked fast and , as his hand was above my head, grabbed his forearm with both hands either side of it, and pushed my head up making sure he couldn’t move with his arm locked against by head. When the othe4 guy realised his partner was stuck he tried to move around and punch or kick me. I used the guy who had his arm trapped on my head as a shield and kept him between me and his partner. The trapped guy had been trying to punch me with his left , but with by arms up my arms and elbows were in his way. He couldn’t kick me as i was moving very quickly side to side and up and down to keep him between me and his partner . This went on for 6 or 7 minutes. I would not let go of the guys right forearm wedged on my head with a broken bottle in the hand. Eventually, the guy dropped the bottle and i let go and stood back. They walked away.

    I promised myself I wouldn't bother commenting on martial art videos but I've gotta say this: the knife disarms in traditional martial arts like Ju Jitsu, Karate, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, etc. are 'slow' because one has to learn it and demonstrate it. There's generally no sparring in these styles that's why it 'doesn't work'. If they sparred and drilled it often (like they do in Krav Maga) then it'd 'work'.

    If someone pulls a knife on you, you run. If you cant run, then you pick up the nearest object to use as a shield against the blade, you would never use a technique like this unless both of those options had already been exhausted,.This technique is absolutely last chance saloon shit and you have to take into consideration that an attacker is not a statue and will react to your reactions and attempt to counter them.

    The first option to do is runaway , defending urself against a knife will most likely hurt you. Option two is to kick him to the nuts to release the tention of his body muscles then use this technique of unarming him

    Muy buen canal, muy buenas clases. Sobre esta, referida a ataques con cuchillos, creo que no funciona la defensa propuesta. Quien ve el video cree que es así de posible defenderse. Por ciertas razones que no vienen al caso, he visto a más de una persona entrenada (viva y/o muerta) perder sus dedos en un ataque. De todas maneras ¡Muchas Gracias!

    While most of the comments here are the basic "But what if" crap you see no matter what martial art video you watch, providing no incite, I would like to state ny very uneducated opinion to provide a lack of incite. For some reason when someone is holding a knife their arms move at a fairly erratic pace most of the time. This slap is good on paper but there's a lot of room for human error. You would have to he fairly good at timing and precision, instead of say the method I have been suggested, which utilizes both arms and requires basic human accurac, being that you block the knife with both hands, and then worry about other parts of the body.

    I think its better to grab the hand holding the knife like strait away with both hands and then use other hand to bend little finger to loosen the knife

      Not an idiot. I trained in krav for 8 years achieving my rank of GIIII under KMI with direct instruction from Ran Nakash and Itay Gil twice in Israel and Carl Halley of TKM. I moved on from there to upgrade my training with Kapap. The methods being shown for these "multiple scenarios" are outdated and have been found to be unsafe in Israel's battlefield.

      Simon Klar Which is why you take classes which stay "in the know" and adapt their techniques. You should know better than most that it's about neutralizing the threat as quickly as possible and then getting out of there. If the knife goes flying, so be it, by then you've already turned and ran off.

  • @VestigialHead

    Hmm I guess this could work. But pretty low percentage. No way I would be letting go of a knife from a simple strike like that. Chances are you will get cut in a knife fight unless you can get a weapon with a much longer range. Even then there is a decent chance of getting cut.

    This is great and all for defense against someone who doesn't know how to use a knife. But, what about any innocent bystander standing in the path of that flying knife? What about the friend of your opponent that will just pick up the knife and stab you. I still believe the best defense is to control the weapon.

    Non mi sembra una buona difesa, se uno stringe il coltello in mano, come solitamente si fa in uno stato di tensione, difficile disarmarlo in quel modo. Se poi istintivamente l'aggressore gira il polso ti ferisci da solo... Però proverò in palestra, magari mi ricredo.
    Grazie comunque per il video.
