    That amenity kit is PACKED! Not to mention you can also take home the pen and notebook - how cool is that! This is the epitome of luxury IMO - truly a game changer. I love it! Thank you for sharing Dominik! ☺️

      well you do pay for a first class ticket no less than $20,000 so being able to take a pen and a notebook with you is nothing to get excited about.. for that price you should be able to get the monitor or the entire sofa-bed off board lol

    Only 9 days and I am flying on this aircraft in First from London Stansted to Dubai, my second time but this time I get to try out the bed. So looking forward to it.

    That’s enormous! I found the other first class suites a bit cramped and the luggage on the floor was annoying. But they really stepped up their game! Great video. 👍🏼

    Thank you for such a meticulous presentation. For longer flights, 11 hours+, many of us prefer the 2 showers in the front of the A380, though. It's a moot point right now, of course, as the new 777ER FC version is only available on shorter flights, at least for now.

    Hey Dominik, good to see you and Stefan. I have to say, I liked the apartment in the A380 of Singapore Airlines much better, homier. Could you make a Lufthansa first class video also? Need it for my family and friends in the US. Also, you need to fly to Orlando Florida, it is the most beautiful airport. Thanks for sharing this video! LOL Ihr alten säufer!

    It's very nice but I understand from the crew on my last flight it's only on a few 777 and they have stoped rolling it out at the moment. Their 777 business product is poor so I always make sure I book the 380

    Someone should market virtual windows for houses or apartments... if you don’t have a window where you want one, install a camera outside and a window screen inside and viola... a window.

  • @ellebee2419
    @ellebee2419 6 років тому +1

    1) Yes! Finally getting rid of the IMO awful 1980's Dynasty TV show inspired colouring (yeah, yeah I know that isn't the inspiration, but even when it was new it seemed old and a bit try-too-hard). 2) A new plane and someone has already 'broken' the blinds/slats in the door. 3) I don't like the video food ordering idea. I'd feel like I'm being watched without knowing it.

    • @FalkoN12345
      @FalkoN12345 6 років тому

      What the hell are you talking about? None of it made sense.

    • @ellebee2419
      @ellebee2419 6 років тому

      Really? Am I seriously the only person in the world that thinks that whilst gold is lovely, that the styling of the Emirates First Class gold was over the top? It was too much of a fantasy versus style.
      10:59 Broken door blind.
      Camera - nope, not likey.

    • @FalkoN12345
      @FalkoN12345 6 років тому

      "Finally getting rid of the IMO awful 1980's Dynasty TV show inspired colouring" what you mean with this ??

    • @ellebee2419
      @ellebee2419 6 років тому

      When reading it is important to read the whole sentence. "(yeah, yeah I know that isn't the inspiration, but even when it was new it seemed old and a bit try-too-hard)". Purely talking about the gold colour - NOT the space/privacy/services/features/foods which was/is amazing. I don't like the gold colour. Or Faux Burl. Maybe I should have used the word Disneyland versus 1980's Dynasty. It's just that I'm old enough to associate over the top sparkly to the costumes on that show. Dynasty memories evoke thoughts of try hard new wealth aping older customs - dressing for dinner in your own home etc.
      Any Aussies out there may recall the awful gold coloured plastic molded lamp and decoration craze of the 1980's, that trend had to die, yet it didn't, it came back on Emirates. I suspect if it were a trend here, it would have been in the US/Europe ten years prior!
      Hidolf I highly suggest you google Copperart advertisement 1988. That may give you a bit of an idea to why I am averse to gold coloured plastic and faux burl wood styling . I couldn't find any earlier adverts but it WAS worse in the early mid 80's. I don't like things that try to look expensive but look fake.
      So all in all, In my opinion, the gold colouring looks fake and the burl wood reminds me of the side of the car from National Lampoons Vacation. "a bit try-too-hard" for the 2000-2010s.

    • @michaelwilder5614
      @michaelwilder5614 5 років тому

      @@luxuryaviator5003 With the luck of the draw on our side, we usually can board the plane directly from the FC Lounge in Terminal 3A. But there are lots of gates in T3B and T3C plus bus gates. At least we have a separate, better appointed bus when we need busing.

And did anyone else notice the broken slats on the blinds in both the doors and one of the windows? If i were to pay that much for a 1st class ticket id expect them to be in proper repair
