In this series, I am setting out to find which format/sport of this super popular set is the best in 2024! Football Prizm in my opinion gets more surprises. Basketball will get you on a treasure hunt but when you hit you it big. I question the Golf cards? Not a big golf follower but i hear the hits are more and better. I don't know haven't tried to buy any.

I'm not sure if you said you've done a class battle before, but that would be fun! Football 2018 vs 2020 would be sweet! I would say 2017, but those are a bit insane at this point. Basketball you could do a few different years.

Generally I think Prizm is by far one of the worst values in the hobby, but hey you got one of the 1-in-100 boxes that got more than 5% value back, so congrats on that. :) Basketball taking the easy W here.

Agreed you could get the same stuff in the Megas, just hobby gives autos guaranteed.. hobby ain’t worth it… I could buy 16 megas or 1 hobby, easy decision for me

40yrs old and just getting back into sports cards. it is a different world compared to the 90's trading cards.
Yeah man, I'm 39 and I got back in before the pandemic when Kobe passed (took 15 years off) I had to play catch up big time and still don't know everything
Football has more hits but I think basketball has a higher ceiling and more cards that can be big.

That Sasser I estimate to be a $1,500 card! (Kobe Bufkin black gold sold for 1k, and I compared Sasser and Bufkin sales on the red seismic and Sasser sells for 1.5 times more)
