- I am comparing retail versus hobby by opening 11 value blaster boxes and 1 hobby box of the new 2023-24 Panini Prizm NBA basketball for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/box break! The new Prizm Basketball has taken the hobby by storm thanks to Victor Wembanyama. One of the toughest decisions facing collectors is whether to go with retail or hobby when buying the new Prizm. In this series, I am setting out to find which format of this super popular set is the best for the price! In total, we have $1,100 in hobby packs and $550 in retail packs. Panini has outdone themselves with this year's Prizm hobby. Blasters haven't been too horrible. I don't know if I'll ever rip Prizm hobby again.

I bought spurs in a half case break of Prizm didn’t hit even a base Wemby but hit 3 Numbered Sir Rice & 2 of his autos, 26yo who was on a 2 way contract & since been waived.

I bought 11 blasters from same restock: 1 auto, 600 Panini pts, 3 #'d to /299, 5 Wemby inserts and 1 base, 2 silver Livelys (base & insert) and a cracked ice of every big name vet but LeBron. Some other decent parallels too. I'm going retail.

Pulled a Wemby silver from a blaster.Gemmed and sold. Pulled a green prizm and some base as well.
This guys pack opening skills is top shelf as well as his skills at sorting and the amount of information i learned from each and every Video has been extremely helpful with my decision weather to open some of these expensive products or not .
I've only ripped 2 Prizm Retail Blasters (all could find in the wild so far) but watching this video makes me think I lucked out!
I pulled an Emergent Wemby and Silver Amen Thompson parallel as well as Silver Deep Space. Green Shaq and Derek Lively base were nice bonuses too

Ricky Council just got signed by Sixers to a 4 year deal, now qualifies for the playoffs, and don't sleep on him to have some big moments, so that could be a 'stock is on the rise' pull along with the Auto you grabbed in another video. 👍
