Im in the process if getting ready for a bearded dragon... Watching lots of videos... Yours is amazing have watched about 5 times now.... Will be basing my build on this video... Love it..... ❤
I wanna do this so bad I’ve been looking up anything I could on one of these themes and yours is the first I’ve found thank god I found it I wanna do it for my bearded dragon this is so awesome looking
I want to do this! I'm getting my baby soon & he's going to be bright yellow. He will look fantastic in something like this. I'm going to add a big Gothic castle & dragon eggs for decor.
This is so cool and amzingly beatiful. My only concerns is that beared dragons normally leave in bright open field but not a cave😅 My beared dragon never goes to the hiding cave I setup for him.
This is incredible, especially with the contrast of the red dragon against the dark cave, this is going to be my inspiration for my dragons new enclosure!
Beyond amazing. The fact that it took you 2 months but you kept going... Wow. Hats off. I could never possess such patience. Edit: Teimo is also one VERY handsome fella!
Why thank you! This have been longest project yet, I hope I can take a big breath before next massive project! Next I'm making scifi jungle ruins. Teimo is such a handsome badass indeed!
Thank you! I have made him a nice feeding place where's plenty of different living plants. That green bush is really colourful in this one toned place 😂
This enclosure is AMAZING. It is so cool how all of your enclosures have a distinct theme. I tried making an enclosure using this method, but it did not turn out like this. Keep up the content.
This is a very cool build, you are quite talented. In the video you mentioned it would be bioactive. What CC did you end up using? Does it clean itself enough to so that you won't have to clean it out every now and then? If you do have to clean it, how do you do that without taking all of the pieces out? Great work!
Thank you! The bottom layer of the substrate is moist enouht to keep isopods alive but still I have had to clean mostly myself because isopods doesn't climb in the rocks.
this looks sick dude great idea and content 🔥 honestly a touch of fake foliage may just tie the whole thing together but regardless i’m sure the lil dude will enjoy it
@@Austin-ou5ir now I can't remember, grout itself is bottom "paint" but highlights are made with nontoxic paint, I always make sure everything is nontoxic and harmless for animals. This might be some kind of chalk paint what I used here
Looks sick! One question though; do you give your backdrop a good rinse after applying (and have dried) the grout? I find that the dried grout stains my hands with their colors/dust once I'm done painting over them.
😮 omg your dragon is stunning! What kind is he?!?! Absolutely love him! And this has been by far my favorite build yet. So amazing! Definitely subscribed and cannot wait to see more!
Thank you! He is Red Cawley Tiger normal morph, really dragonish looking! I'm glad I found him but he likes to be alone more than with my company 😅 I'd like to make more dragon caves but at the moment Teimo shall be the only one in our house, I hope someone will buy their own and ask my help with setup! But I have 5 other terrarium setups coming at the moment, thank you for subscribing! I really appreciate it!
Do you use any kind of top coat to protect the rocks and stuff from damage? I'm wondering if the acrylic paint and grout will start to wear down over time, exposing the foam?
I didn't use any top coat, grout is really hard stuff but this is my first dragon setup so I can't be sure how it looks in the future. For now it haven't took any damage, my boy is active runner but I definitely will give some information if this doesn't work for long use. I'm really trusting this is enough because of grout
@@CrimsonMedusa thank you. I see how you are using it and I am in need of one I can use so freely. The one I currently have I got from Amazon and it's difficult to work with when it only cuts straight lines. Can't bend the wire and shape the area you want off.
you did a great job no doubt but it seems like you built it for You to look at Not Him, for a reptile that supposedly sees in color you gave him all black, no variation no drift wood or nothing to climb on don't feel this is the best setting for a bearded dragon, not that you don't take care of him or her I 100% believe you do just feel like this was built for your eyes not his
The rocks where very high and built to climb on. Yes its all black but that isnt going to damage anything? Its not like bearded dragons stay in the enclosures all day everyday. He has everythimg he needs to survive and plenty to climb and move on. I dont see what ur complaining about

Awesome if this video was inspiring! Congratulats for having a baby dragon!
This is truly art here. I love it! Once you have it setup and looking good I just see the dollar signs. I take care of the dragons the best I can!
Thank you! It wasn't really expensive to make but it took really plenty of time! That's awesome, everyone should take care of their pets as you do!

I'm glad if this video was inspiring and helpful for your project! I gave one nice branch for climbing and hiding later, he likes it!
It’s absolutely perfect! Bravo! I know Tieno is in heaven, living there. ❤️
Thank you! He seems to like his home, safe place because he always run back to his terrarium if I take him out from there
One of the best guides on youtube, the final effect is really impressive.

That's freakin cool! The darkness of the enclosure really sets off his colors.
Thank you! Black and red works everytime!
This is by far my favorite build on UA-cam. I'm in the middle of doing my huge enclosure and this is just the motivation I was looking for! Thank you.
Thank you so much! I'm glad if this motivated, if you are making a rock background wall, just use something softer than I did, it was really painful!
This is so cool and amzingly beatiful. My only concerns is that beared dragons normally leave in bright open field but not a cave😅 My beared dragon never goes to the hiding cave I setup for him.

Thank you! I'm glad if this can give inspirations for other dragon owners!
Hands down the best enclosure I’ve seen it’s amazing
Awesome thank you! This was a good morning!

This setup is so beautiful ill try to make this one
Wow super well done! Thanks for sharing and documenting.
Thank you! I hope these videos would give inspirations for people who wonder what to do with their own terrariums
new subscriber🙋♀️ This is a very unique way that I have not seen before and I absolutely love how you made your hole set up and cave!!!🤩
Thank you and thank you so much for subscribing! 😍 This was really fun project!
Daaang 💣 🔥 is there a follow up vid to this? Did you wind up adding more to it since? Fantastic concept.
Thank you! I have made him a nice feeding place where's plenty of different living plants. That green bush is really colourful in this one toned place 😂
Bro you are awesome you just gave me an idea for my setup!
Thank you, I’m glad if my projects are usefull and gives ideas, that’s my goal!

Thank you! Next I’ll make scifi jungle ruins! Every setup will be unique, your setup is yours looking!
Love what you did here! Great video
This is exactly what I was looking for…I wanna make a cave theme for my ball python
You can use styro foam and shape it with heat gun to create rocks, it's much much easier. I'm glad if this video is useful for inspiring your project!

What kind of grout did you use.
www.kiilto.com/product/kiilto-saumalaasti/ I used this product
Newb question: what kind of foam did you use?
Polyurethane board, this product was Finnfoam but there's plenty of similar products in markets
@@CrimsonMedusa thanks so much!
Could you use xps foam as well? Believe they use it for building houses. We use it to make dioramas.
@@gregorygilliland7720 this foam what I used is basically same as XPS foam, so absolutely yes, it's a good foam!

What did you use for gluing the foam together?
And what did you use to glue the stalactites to the ceiling?
I used PVA because I didn't have anything else, but polyurethane glue is better. I used silicone for ceiling
cool vid im thinking of doing something similar what type of paint do you use?
Thank you! I used chalk wash, it's toxic free and looks natural and gives rocky matt texture
@@CrimsonMedusa ok thanks
@@CrimsonMedusa can you add brown pigment to it?
I didn’t but ir surely gives more natural looking colouring. It looks brownish in this setup because heating lamp is warm
@@CrimsonMedusa ok
What is the black grout
It's tile grout, same stuff what people use for their bathroom tiles, it's a little bit hard to explain but if you Google it, you will see the product
Beautiful dragon. But be careful with the sand (impaction). What's your clean up crew? Did you use the arid springtails?
What brand is the foam cutting tool you are using?
It's Proxxon thermocut, I can't say is it good because I haven't use other cutting tools but it does its work
@@CrimsonMedusa thank you. I see how you are using it and I am in need of one I can use so freely. The one I currently have I got from Amazon and it's difficult to work with when it only cuts straight lines. Can't bend the wire and shape the area you want off.

Could you build me 1?!
You got a IPhone I’d like to FaceTime you for more info
Is your dragons name bowser?😅
Oh no that would be such a good name! But no, he's Teimo 😂

Too dark for a dragon
