Hey everybody. This was a really fun collaboration with our man Jason who's got some serious Zakk Wylde chops. There are some extra guitars happening in the outro which we didn't realize were there until we checked out the isolated tracks. We didn't include the tabs because Zakk doesn't do them live. So as a player approaching this from a live perspective, we would just keep it C5-D5-E5 in the outro just like he does. I will include it in the backing track which will make it fun to jam along with. Backing Tracks are all available on my Patreon page. Links in the description. It's a technique that I love. You grab the b string with the finger you use to bend the e string. But you kind of do it at the top of the bend. Like a very slight rolling motion. You got this man!
I love watching and studying these videos I haven't had a 6 string in years too expensive and with my mental health issues it's hard to focus on one thing let alone playing my bass guitar as I'm self taught on both but I always wanted guitar lessons as just playing by myself I could never get to the level I wanted to be at watching these videos there's parts I watch to where i think hey that's doable or that i could never do that in a million years I miss playing but right now it's just not in the availability for me and my skills definitely aren't what they used to be though before that wasn't much

Back in 2019 my wife and I got to meet Zakk after the Experience Hendrix concert in Nashville. We got a picture with him and talked for a few minutes!!

I absolutely love these Ozzy/Zakk Wylde tabs and performances. His style of playing is so melodic and technical and emotional all at once. Very hard to play well in my opinion. It's so educational to be able to watch it played along with the tab. Thanks so much for these! My respect for Zakk just keeps going up and up and up. The GnR/Slash songs are great, too, of course!! No More Tears is a masterpiece (Zakk was at the top of his game, IMO), you guys should look at doing something from The Ultimate Sin (I love that album). BTW, did you and Jason know the working title of this song was "CC, I'm Coming Home"? Zakk was giving tribute to Father CC DeVille. In an interview with Metal Edge magazine back in the day Zakk said right before he recorded the solo he asked himself "what would Saint CC play?" The rest is history. True story, bro. You guys should take a look at doing a deep cut of Poison.

Don't pander to your audience (well, except to me) all that will do is turn youtube into a job - chasing clicks and views. Cover what you want to cover. I'd love to see some more obscure bands/songs that really got you into playing guitar when you were younger. No More Tears is a masterpiece (Zakk was at the top of his game, IMO), you guys should look at doing something from The Ultimate Sin (I love that album).
BTW, did you and Jason know the working title of this song was "CC, I'm Coming Home"? Zakk was giving tribute to Father CC DeVille. In an interview with Metal Edge magazine back in the day Zakk said right before he recorded the solo he asked himself "what would Saint CC play?" The rest is history.
