Interesting fact: it's possible to make iron (and other metal weapons i think) by smelting your ores, then crafting a woodcutter axe. Then dissamble using the hammer. The dropped iron will have the "stone" tag. Then you can use on the mason table to craft weapons as if they were stone.
For dirt cheap meats to feed your pet cheaply, hammering flowers you found with a hammer tool into edible leaves, then use them to make edible makeshift arrows (with branches and these leaves, you get 40 arrows per leaf, rotten leaf also works), then put the edible makeshift arrows into fertilizer box, waiting until they turn into fertilizers (this is cheap fertilizer recipe, so you will get multiple fertilizers from a flower and a branch, it's 8 orens per bag), then hammering fertilizers into "corpses", the dirt-maded meat (it's image will be a yellowish meat) called corpse is not identified as human (so you or your pet won't go insane by eating it), never rotten (so they don't need the cooler box's space), has a "fatty" stat, best cooking with condiments. You may also get the human corpses from hammering the fertilizers too (with an image of a bloody corpse), use it to make fishing baits instead, fishing and turn any nice stat fish you like into a bonito flake with a sawing table to amp the bland meat up. 😂
@@DrIncompetent in my case, hunting took time on traveling because I stay "burden!" and may spoil the meats that is not in the cooler box, mostly you will get a variation of meats which won't stack together well. So I cook at home and prepare a food stack in my companions' inventories before traveling, you can buy ration from a store but it doesn't have any nutrition to raise stats.
How do you hammer flowers? I have a hammer and a flower but when right clicking the hammer, which usually lets me disassemble anything else, doesn't give the disassemble option when I try it on flowers. I must be missing something obvious.
One of the fastest ways selling Bonito wine, and you get those by stuffing bonito flakes in a fermenting barrel. You get the barrel recipe from a girl you meet in the 2nd floor of the 2nd quest dungeon, and you get bonito flakes by sawing fish.
Make mushroom and bonito wine for easy cash, my guy. Cut fish at the sawtable into bonito flakes, and put them in the wine casks for good money. Or grow mushrooms and convert them to wine. (Shrooms are a great crop because they grow without sun and will grow in a single day.)
I was hoping you were going to make a tutorial on this. This game looks intimidating to pick up! This is coming from someone who has thousands of hours into Cataclysm: DDA 😛
Bro's too based, keeps playing the same games I do. Still watching the video ATM, but how does it play on the Steam Deck? Any recommended control schemes?
For Steamdeck, it works pretty well! You have to use the mouse a lot in this, so right TouchPad and r2 for left click. You can move well with thumbsticks. The key is it's x or y for middle click, which ya gotta have in this ;) I have had it crash my deck so save often haha. Hopefully better support coming!

Oh wow! Thank you for sharing this tip!
I wish they kept the "regular" non tilted grid
I wonder if they will ever add that option... I know you can adjust the tilt in settings...

Wow, that's a complex way to feed that pet haha. Thanks for sharing!

@@DrIncompetent I think a storage box doesn't need to be near the working table, they are linked within the same map.
Lmao. Literally "dirt" cheap meat.
