I collected the comics back in the 80s. But reading them now in my Omnibus collection, The Judas Contract is one of the best stories. And back in the days, I hated the origin story of Wonder Girl (issue 22, I think) because there was not costumes nor villains. But reading the story now, it is a very beautiful detective story and a friend doing a favor for another friend using the special skills he has.

One of my favorites was issue #18...the first crossover with the Russian superhero Starfire. Growing up in this era you were aware of the Cold War and the political climate between the U.S.S.R and the U.S.A. The whole story was exasperated by Kid Flash's political views. I felt the way Wally looked in the last panel when Starfire made the reveal and walked away...🤯
      Worth a re-read!

It's funny. I'm an artist/graphic designer and wasn't really into Kirby as a kid. I grew to love his work and that Kirby 3D comic sealed the deal. He was doing things that were unheard of in the comics industry.

My favorite line up will always be the 2003 Geoff Johns line, a close second is the original line up from the '60s and a third is Wolfman and Perez's line up.

The Wolfman/Perez era was definitely the best. It brought the best of the sidekicks and added some fresh new characters. The stories were well written and edgy at times. Stories like the "Runaways" and the crossover with the Russian Starfire showed the "good fight" might have bittersweet results. Then they gave a Terra...🤯

I was a New Teen Titains fan Like way back in the eighties. ,When the Titans were cool and awesome ,And they so cool that their was a spinoff with this group called the Outsiders.,Yeah I remember. that at the time too ,But Marv Wolfman was the dude I liked reading in comics back in the day ,Along side his buddy and pal George Perez who all helped on Crisis ,And they both made DC along side few others ,But yeah the New Teen Titans was a great read thanks Wolfman & Perez .

@Gabriel Fraga In fact, I know several people from different countries of latino america (Argentina & Mexico), who used to go to Brazil in the 80s, to buy a lot of comics that they couldn´t find in their countries (like Superman, or Marvel´s Conan, and british characters like Judge Dredd...) But maybe this guy was born at a very rural area (like me), and there weren´t any comicbook shops around.
