Agreed. We need these sustainable designs. But I'm afraid Indians won't buy good quality stuff and stick to low-quality products due to their cheap costs.

Unless an Indian company caters to their sustainability objectives or a billionaire invests in them they can’t do that I don’t think they have the cash flow or supply chain to invest in other countries outside of Europe. The only exception being Murena for fairphone 4.

I think he meant Fairphone should make their products available for purchase outside of the EU, hopefully shipped in bulk to Indian Ecom sites to avoid customs.
