One of the things that I see people complain about with this bar is the stability, but I haven't found a single camber bar that doesn't have that issue 😅
I have the Rep one and in about a week or two you get used to it, stronger wrists. I love it almost exclusively bench and shoulder press with it. You're right the heavier you don't notice it.
One thing I don’t like about most multi-grip bars including the one I own (Reps Direct FB Bar) is the poorly knurled handles. The handles on this bar makes it tempting to purchase.
Don't buy it yet. I've heard Bells Of Steel will be releasing a new camber bar with better knurling and a longer length to make it rackable. They are collaborating with Bald Omni Man and he has been posting updates on his channel about how far he is in the process of finishing the design and whatnot.
I got this bar on deep discount when they were getting rid of the narrow version 1. So mine doesn't have a screw on the sleeve to keep it from spinning (version 2). The only issue I had was the handles are a very tight fit. It was hard for me to get them in and would be very difficult to change them. I scratched up the bar getting the handles in because it was such a tight fit. But luckily I didn't plan to change them once they were set anyway. I love the shorter sleeves which make moving it around the rack a breeze. Nice premium bar.
@@clarkg5946 the handle I changed out in this video ended up scratching my frame pretty significantly, but it will be a while before I move the handles again. Great to hear you got one for a good price and that you’re happy with it.
@@royramdas7298 thanks so much. I really wish I would have gotten one during their Matte Black Sale last year…it would have been 1/2 what I got this for.
I think all cambered swiss bars have some instability due to the offset weight of the center section. However, that is good for forcing us to recruit wrist and forearm muscles to stabilize the weight. Another great review!
