It's so funny to me...it NEVER would occur to me to make fun of or even have any sort of opinion about another person's wallet! Says more about them than you. It's cute and looks very functional!
I agree! I don't think I've ever noticed friends wallets. Not something I look at. So we are now at wallet shaming eh...😆 Well made wallets last forever so I totally get you still rocking the Coach!
As a vintage Coach collector, I’ve brought quite a few wallets and clutches back to life with some leather cleaner and leather moisturizer (although white can be a bit harder). It will also help lengthen the life of your leather products. Another great option: You can bring your Coach wallet to any Coach store and ask them to clean it for you-it’s a free service they provide. They’ll usually do it right on the spot if they’re not busy.
Dry eyes, lips and hands are signs of dehydration. Coffee is dehydrating and there is a fine line of what is enough for each person. Also, vaseline is not a humectant, it pulls moisture from your body to bring to the surface rather than pulling moisture from the air. I like shea butter or even coconut oil (better at night). This is from the girl who had the worst dry hands and lips, cut, split and bleeding, having tried everything! One more point to keep good oils on the skin naturally is to eat a variety of nuts and seeds. I now only drink organic coffee, drink more water/herbal teas, have nuts and seeds and I no longer dread winter. My skin is soft and I rarely need to use the shea butter (which i mix with essential oils I like.) I hope this helps! Loved the video, I have been wondering what others carried and your video popped up!
I prefer crossbody bags. Card holder, keys, hand sanitizer, phone, and that’s it. But I’m also working from home and only go to the grocery store at the moment. When I drove to work I would bring a canvas tote with a book, water bottle, makeup bag and a sweater and my lunch box. But I’ve never been a person to carry too much for “just in case”.
I switched to a mini kate spade backpack, and it's made out of nylon so it's cute and stain resistant. I then also switched to a small card holder I got from Amazon, so I have less clutter there. Just by switching up those two things it's way easier for me to find everything in my bag and my back doesn't kill me anymore.
This is my favourite kind of classic UA-cam video! Just fun to hangout listen along and feel like I'm hanging out with you. Also I AM SUCH A BACKPACK GAL! Actually life changing in 2020 I also got a fanny pack that I use as a cross body back and it's like having a mini version of my backpack haha. Backpack gals unite! Love the look of this one. :)
Wallet, iphone, keys, mask are always with me. If I'm going to be out for more than 5 minutes I will make sure I have the following: readers (glasses), sunglasses, lip balm, hand cream, planner/journal, water bottle, pens (I have a pen/pencil pouch), and maybe a small knitting project (like socks). Also, I love that you are using your wallet to the end of it's life cycle. It is so inspiring.
I think it's great that you're using what you already own and ignore what anyone says about the wallet being beaten up... I'm just surprised that as a minimalist you choose to carry around such a large wallet. I minimised my wallet and its contents years ago and never looked back.
I carry pretty much the same including the Tide stick. The only additional thing I carry is measuring tape. Now that most fitting rooms are closed, it comes in handy.
I carry three black leather pouches, plus my wallet. One pouch has a few toiletries, one has car fob, gate opener, mail box key. The last has pen, gum, work badge, mini notepad. Combined they don't talk up much room and I can easily transfer everything from bag to bag when I change them out. I am definitely a handbag girl.
Honestly I just have to say this. I might not comment on every video but I have watched your videos for a very long time and gosh! your skills surrounding making these videos have gotten insane! They get better and better with every video and now I just had to say it!
The good thing is that all your clothes and items are pieces look to be high quality so they with last a very long time! Cutting out the need to keep repurchasing items because it was $5!
Mine is quite simple but these are all my essential items that I need to use every time I go out: -keys -a small wallet (where I put $20 in cash, credit card, debit card, library card, and a metro card) -hand sanitizers -water bottle (depending on how long I will be out) -a small pouch (where I put my facial cream, toner spray, sunscreen, band-aide, a cherry chapstick, wipes for my glasses and an extra mask because 2021) -headphones & my phone charger -a reusable shopping bag
I wasn't expecting such a big bag and so many things to be honest. But i guess everyone carries whatever makes them feel good. The sunglasses look great!
@@Christinamychas Loved the video! It definitely gave me streamlined, curated, minimalism vibes for sure. I love that everything you carry is functional and works for you! I'm a backpack girl too!
I'm also a backpack girl, but many establishments in my city don't allow you to carry a backpack in for fear of thievery. Maybe it's because I live in a college town? I'm curious as to how common this is. It really inconveniences me.
🎒 - Makeup pouch - Wallet - Reusable H2O bottle - Reusable bags - Book - Sunglasses - Shea Butter - Hand sanitizer - Ear buds - Tissue - Hand fan I also carry other things because I travel a lot and don’t like unpacking and repacking.
If your wallet is leather some saddle soap will clean it right up, and then just condition. Saddle soap and conditioner can be used on shoes and bags too.
Thank you for this. I love how you make conscious decisions and don’t drag half your life around, just in case. Like I used to do... now I just bring a pretty zip pouch with my cards, my keys and a face mask. Such a relief. Burt’s Bees also has a wonderful Nourishing Lotion without petrolatum, but with the same properties you appreciate in the Vaseline hand cream. 🙂
Love a backpack too! Im super minimal...phone, wallet and small makeup bag that has a compact, Vaseline for lips, tweezers, hair tie, a travel nsaid tube, floss and mask in it.
Do you carry your Backpack on both shoulders when you are wearing Blazers and wool Coats? Could you show how you style that? I love backpacks but i feel like wool coats/blazers and backpacks dont go together
I really haven’t decided if I’m a bag, purse, tote person.. I love a good tote bag because you can throw so much into it, but every now and again I go on a hiatus and hate carrying so much stuff. I used to be a walk-er to work everyday person, and then covid and I don’t have a regular job anymore.. so now I keep a ton of my essentials in my car and usually just have keys, wallet, phone shoved into pockets.
I carry a backpack to go to the office on weekdays. I have my laptop, stationaries, wallet, book and hand cream. I drink coffee before go to work and we have coffee machine & drinking water in our pantry so I don't need to carry those. All my bathroom & feminine essentials stock up in my office drawer so I don't have to put an extra weight in my backpack. Oh it always shocked me when I heard someone make fun of others belonging cause it never crossed my mind to do so 👀👀 I mean is it necessary, really 🙄

Do you recommend LASIK? I wanted it cause I hate having glasses at the beach or when swimming. However I heard your eyes are more vulnerable once you get Lasik
If that wallet is leather which i think it is, you could clean it and paint it again. Similar as to how you would re-paint leather shoes. Either same color or a different one will bring a new life to this wallet who still has many many years of use :)
You're speaking my language! I love a good sleek purse backpack, although I do carry a purse too. I usually carry a backpack when I know I'll be out and about all day and want to bring several things a long. Or if I know I'm just going to specific places like just shopping I'll take my little purse with a pandemic kit + a few essentials and that's it.
