Not so easy to follow, you say at least 2 deep but 3 will be better so I used 3. I think it threw off the directions. You also go too fast at the end, working underwater. I can't see what you are doing and you're moving fast.
hes just stretching the video with pointless blubber
Yeah its a good tutorial for the most part but there are so many redundant steps, way too many times he says to do something very specific and then a few steps later you are undoing or changing it
dude stresses you need 5x5 inside the fence, then builds a 4x5 lol
dude, one is going into the water
@@Frootyitz i dont know what you're getting at. If we're talking about the interior dimensions of the space, including the water, then its 5x7, if exterior dimensions, its 7x9.
If we exclude the water, the same measurements are 5x4 interior, and 7x5 exterior. Like literally just pause it in the first 10 seconds and count it out mate instead of trying to correct people without actually checking you're correct first.
@@ephasm dude, in the video he literally said, 5x5 with one going into the water(interior dimension)
@@Frootyitz I dont give a fuck what he says, im literally looking at what hes built, and i can count. I suggest you do the same.
@@ephasm why are you so angry? He built a 5x5, counting the fifth block being the water
This vid is an exact copy from NaMiature, including title and description.
For some reason the turtles aren't going down to the hoppers they're trying to hop out the fence, there isn't water surrounding the fences btw so idk
Did you figure anything out? I tried on creative and looks like I had the same issue. Worst case scenario I figure I may have to go down there with sea grass to lure them in as I don't want to try rebuilding the whole thing with another persons guide
same. found any fixes?
@@boyraptor idk if it was in this video or another, but I saw someone dug out the space under the trap doors, opened the doors, and replaced those blocks under with water. They also removed the middle door.
I followed this but kept the middle door and only the blocks under the trap door has water and I removed the water where its originally in this video. This way even if a turtle makes it to the corner but doesn't want to move forward, they'll still fall into the water and be forced down under. I only tried this in creative but it seems like it should work better. Still waiting for the eggs to hatch in my friends survival world. Worst case scenario go down with some seagrass and they'll follow, but the adults still can't make it down there. Then just leave once all babies are down there. Makes it a bit less of an afk farm, but I figured its not too much of a big deal considering the fact that you have to stay close to the eggs for them to hatch and I visit often to make sure they're doing good.
Also. Raise the fence a bit. The turtles can lay eggs right next to the fence and use that to hop over. Learned that the hard way
@@MindOfACouch I was spending hours trying to figure it out I will try later thank you! also if this doesn't work I'll probably just build one of those big ones
@@boyraptor you're welcome! Hope it works out for us both without the need for the extra steps lol. I'll probably end up redesigning it as well anyway as its designed for the turtles to die afterwards, but from what I've seen they don't always die and you'll just end up having a bunch of turtles down there. I'll probably build a separate room to take them out into the water once they're all grown and restart the process. If I make a video I'll send the link to give you and some others more ideas
Wow love it!
Thank you
The baby turtles grown up and get stuck in the pit area. I do get scutes, but I have all these "stuck" adult turtles.
Put a door on one side so you can open it and go kill the grown up turtles, they should drop sea grass meaning that you won't have to keep farming it in the ocean
How long does it take for eggs to hatch, mine haven’t hatched for days
Around 3 real life Hours
One day night cycle in the game is 20 minutes so I think that you can calculate that for yourself
Don't sleep in the game by the way, turtle eggs only progress in the night and remember to be close to the eggs itself or the game won't update it (within 128 block of the eggs)
This is so cool! Awesome way to farm your turtle shells!
Thank you, now I can troll my friends with lingering turtle master potions.
Ty so much, now I can make a turtle army 😈
Turtle Power
my favorite part of this video is you calling the turtle he when it was literally laying eggs 😭😭 LOL
What happends if the babies fall in the water and then grow up?
it is possible they get stuck
A w e s o m e 😎
...why all this? Does it even draw the babies once you quashed the ocean water? What precisely do they count?
I just made a big space for turtle really big space
That's awesome
This was so confusing and hard to follow, I eventually gave up because the instructions were so confusing
Same my feelings excatly, except I decided to push through and finish after having to tear it down and restart 3 times. Now im reading the comments and saying it might not work. Im pissed.
@@virginiareaper1178 yup, same here. Such a weird way to do a tutorial. Especially the part that extends underwater. I built it, and idk if it will work, but lets hope it does.
Edit: Doesn't work. You need to get a way for them to be able to pathfind into the open ocean. This farm does not do that.
Does it qork on bedrock
Yes
@@NarwhalGamer Nope. Doenst seem to work. Check other comments.
Thanks this help alot with stuff
Thanks for the tutorial! Keep up the good work.
It's not working for me is it for you?
thanks :D
Of course
What was the “5 carpet” in the items list in the description for?
probably to jump over the fence
Prolly to jump into the fence
Probably for hopping over the fence to breed the turtles
