Is Tuina actually done over fabric covering the body?

A very very very very very quick, superficial and partial glimpse on Tui-na massage :).

I have severe treatment-resistant insomnia not associated with anxiety. Might you know if Tui na might help me? I am dying from the lack of sleep and have tried everything.

I love the setting (music, lighting, space design) and education in this!
While I assume this video is intended to give people a sense for what *receiving* Tuina looks like, I recommend editing the description/discussion below the video to emphasize it would be a profound disservice to anyone attempting to duplicate what they're watching here on their own.
Because, there are so many more vital details that make a critical difference in how to perform Tuina that translates to other forms of Therapeutic Bodywork as well. Both recipient and provider would benefit dramatically more from getting a more thorough education.
Having extensive training myself in Chinese Medicine, Tui Na, Shiatsu and western modalities of Therapeutic Bodywork + over 27 years professional experience, I see an opportunity to provide more detailed videos to give viewers a better understanding of the methods being used here.
    For example, "Joint-Stacking".
Knowing how the provider should stack their joints to minimize strain and potential RSI, hyperextension, injury, and transferring their physical stress and fatigue to the client's energy field, is an essential component of this practice to ensure safer delivery and more effective outcomes.
For the same reasons, it's vital for the provider to use proper *stance*, *spine neutrality* and how to work from their Dantien and use their *whole body* to transfer power through their limbs and hands -like in martial arts- to more effectively and safely perform these methods.
It may also help to reshoot this video using a recipient fully clothed in comfortable clothing -like one wears for yoga -to make the notion of receiving Tuina more approachable for people who might be concerned or uncomfortable getting partially or fully undressed to receive it.
If you would like further consultation from me on designing an updated video -or a *series* of videos that can empower people who can't afford professional massage to exchange effective bodywork with familiar people (friends &/or family), please reply "Yes" below and I'll contact you directly.

I'm interested in learning Tuina. Any advice where to look for a teacher in Europe? I live in Sweden but I'm prepared to travel to learn it properly.

Techniques can be the same. Internal aspect is different - theory, principles... Which can be learned from a book. Physical aspect - the technique you use is not important.

Tuina is like Swedish massage without oil. It has also Japanese shiatsu techniques.
