It’s a good thing because it will force brands to make usb-c accessories. Usc-c is in everyway superior to the ancient usb-a. You can fit more, there is no way to put your cable wrong in it etc. Now Apple had already announced this about 6 years ago and given brands 5 years now I believe. Now every Mac will be without usb-a. So if anyone wants to sell a mouse to us, they better make a usb c dongle, cable or use bluetooth. The first gaming mouse and keyboard from corsair are now usbc. Suddenly they can innovate. It was the same with the removal of the dvd drive.

@ I think lack of features is just as problematic as feature creep. Forcing a user to buy new things when they’re old things work fine is also problematic. For the user who just need a keyboard to work usb c or usb a doesn’t make a huge difference unless a manufacturer has pigeon holed them in to using only one. There are even people who still have a use for PS/2 keyboards ! The port is on modern motherboards for that reason

Ye definitely agree, although the ssd is technically upgradable now in the mini and studio. & in fact I don't mind that it's not upgradable but more the insane prices apple charges for said upgrades. Eitherway, ye I showed my pc setup in the video, which looks better than my joke cable images obviously.
My old pc set up had minimal cords, power cord for PC, PD cord for video output, keyboard keyboard cord. My headset and mouse both use dongles and I use wifi so I only had 3 cords max so pretty clean.

Satire depends for me it’s not, I originally made this as a fun copium piece for my mac gamer friends.. but it got into the wrong algorithm it seems and shows up for watchers of gamersnexus etc. So i can see why some would believe that. Believe it or not i’ve been a pc gamer for 2 decades and still have a pc (because of lack of games for mac). But this is my real opinion just coated in a format that sparks discussion. More games, does not mean good games. It is like android Play Market, a lot of software, but most of them are useless, and amount of spyware and adware is just mind blowing. The problem here is also pirates. Most of the people I know those use Windows are pirates. They hate to pay for software. They say, why to pay, if I can get for free? Then do not care about privacy, do not care about viruses, backdoors, spyware, and many other things. It is like arguing with Toyota Corolla owner about Porsche. They simply do not want quality. But if you offer them it for free, they will get it. I also have gaming PC (high-end), and after I got MacbookPro with M series, I simply forgot about it. Besides games, it can do everything else way faster, way better, less bulky, almost no cables. 1 cable to rule them all. I simply plug my Mac to Lenovo TB4 dock, and everything turns on. Then I pick it, and go to work. Then I also got portable Monitors (Limink, which also have USB C ports), and now, I mostly use them at work. Minus 2 charging cables per each monitor. I hope one day we will be able to connect monitors without cable.
Totally agree mate. They don't care about the user experience, they do not want or cannot afford it which if the later is sadge ofc, everybody should be able to experience MacOS imo. I buy all my software and ye gotta agree, my pcmasterrace friends are very fond of just pirating whatever if it suits them. You see it regularly on Reddit as well. Perhaps it's an age thing as well. When I was younger, 16-19 i hated Apple as well, now 30+ I cannot believe I voluntarily dealt with Windows for so long. I still have a decent gaming pc as well, 3080ti, 12400f 32gigs, i barely use it tho. Most games do not interest me and I get a headache at the thought of updating my drivers, steam, rockstar launcher, ubi launchers, Windows, Discord, Spotify and all other crap it wants from me. Yes. But it is all in this High Quality form factor. You may get fast SSD, but what is point, if your laptop is heavy, ugly, has bad sound, bad trackpad, less fast ports? And I am not even talking about PSU, which is normally in high end laptops are almost 1 kg. Let's not forget that, one should cary that. The same applies to your PC. If we want high-end PC, it will get noisy, bulky, heavy, and eat way way more energy. You do not even need heating when gaming. Nvidia GPU eats more than MacStudio and heats like a heater. If we go to small form factor, then again, we will lose either raw power, or in cooling. Simply saying, if you want to go Windows/Linux, you will not be able to come close to Apple. You will always have worst product in total comparison.
Yup that is all true, and yet I think Mac is nicer. Not better, nicer. I still have a pc for compatibility sake but I rarely use it, because as I explained in the video, the user experience of a pc is crap. And also, enjoy gta 6 lol.

Loved the video! Using FreeForm caught me off guard then when you had your images/ points to be really small I laughed so ingenious and smart. I had a PC as well but sold it, sure it was powerful mod range still useful but it's big, inefficient. I got the new Mac mini I love how small it is while allowing me to do what did before more efficiently Energy wise. I game little bit but have been drifting away from it for awhile now. I am becoming an apple fanboy myself kinda, I can't say all of apples practices are good but they are innovating even as slow as it might be. I will be subbing to this and your other apple channel! My only complaint is apple should of gave the AirPods Max H2 chip, and give the magic keyboard with Touch ID backlight like the iPad keyboard 🥲

@@S1eepers gonna be honest, ive no experience with air cooled macbooks, only had 2 airs and a mini now, quiet as can be.
you can always limit the cable clutter with docks. the nice thing with a pc is that you can upgrade the ram and storage. something I wish apple kept.
