I don't understand people sometimes. He had the whole river. This is the same thing in the woods. You have 100,000s of acres of forest, yet you have to camp 10 feet from me. 🙄
Was at a HUGE beach (about a mile long) today with my wife and purposely set up on the far side during a high tide thinking that there is no way someone would walk the ENTIRE beach to our 15 ft of dry ground. NOPE! Not even there 20 mins before a group of two families and their kids plopped down their stuff before asking how much longer we were going to be in "their spot". I told the Karen that I had a cooler full of beer and food so she could wait and find out. She didn't last more than 15 mins before attempting to muscle us out and attempted to set up essentially on top of us before a friendly set of waves threatened to wash half their stuff away and they quickly left. The childish entitlement of some people amazes me...
Unfortunately , those types of idiots are involved in everything good people want to do , driving , camping , fishing , hunting , shopping ect..Not a good day unless some F tard is involved...
That's literally my biggest pet peve when I go up hunting. I drive 5 hours into the middle of nowhere in national forest, and some dick hole comes and sets up 20 yards from my camp. And I'm not camping in the big open spots where trailers can go.

True story. Happened yesterday. Fishing a local pond that had recently been stocked. My only day off to fish. Place is empty, maybe two people around the whole State Park. Catching and releasing decent trout. Guy comes up to me, sits down six feet away. Starts fishing and telling fish stories. When I fish alone it’s because I want to be left alone. Like to say hello, bullshit a little, but then move on please. No offense. I was using Trout Magnets and catching and releasing lots of trout. He commented on every fish. He gut hooked a few on Power Bait, and released them to die, right in front of me. No shame. I finally told him I was going to try another spot and moved. SMH.
It's amazing how many smooth brains try to fish. They get all in their feelers when they ain't catching anything and see others ripping lips all day so they for some odd reason turn into a whole entire moron! Springer fishing is combat fishing, used to have a broomstick pole with 100lb test and a 3oz chunck of lead and if u were the lucky Karen well it ruined ur day😂

Had the same similar situation happen to me on Saturday.2 guys in a boat was in my casting lane, I tried to tell them they too close and they started talking smack saying I couldn't cast out anywhere near them. So I launched it about 50 yards over their head. Needless to say they moved in a hurry.
considering that it takes 20 years for one of those fish to get old enough to be able to breed.. the regulations must be followed and enforced to protect the population.

That was the other boat talking to the “karen” because the guy at first was trying to anchor right below us. He literally dropped his anchor on our fish & broke it off.
Guys instead of doing those big swing hook sets when the rod gets hit crank your reel until you feel the fish then pull rod out of holder it will increase your hookup rate

I had a guy sit next to us and proceeded to tell me my gear was out dated. I fish with old Mitchell reels and glass rods. He got mad when we were catching fish left and right. I love your videos.
Never a dull moment out there. I have seen people jump into other peoples boat then went back to the dock to duke it out some more at the mouth of the lewis.
I saw a bass tournament a couple years ago at one of our local lakes. I watched a guy catch a really nice smallmouth on a point. It was probably 4 or 5 pounds. When the other bass anglers in the area saw him catch it, they all piled into where he caught it, and started casting there. It was disgusting. Some people lack any semblance of courtesy.
Have you guys tried using a real down technique for sturgeon it works well down here in California since all the new reels have such a low end torque and the pick up so much line per handle trun

Here on the Saint John River, we can keep all sturgeon over 130cm (~51"). Every year I catch a few to keep, usually if im doing a big outdoor fresh fish thing. Ill catch and filet 90 fresh Crappie (45 a day here, and easy to catch) to deep fry, sturgeon filets on the barbecue, trout on the smoker, and wine and beer for the neighborhood. Its the only time my wife is glad I bought those Vanford and Tranx 400hg reels that I definitely needed to catch those fish. Nevemind that our son caught half the crappie on a 90$ flueger, she doesn't need to know that. The neighborhood loves it (because I also make great beer).
Where I'm from and fish for salmon (illegal to fish for sturgeon) people that get even half that close would probably get shot or stabbed or something .....Show some respect!!!
I know you guys mostly fish in the states but you should do a trip up to British Columbia (Canada) and do some sturgeon fishing in the Fraser River. You guys would love it and not too far.

This happened to me mushroom hunting. Was in a sweet spot. Dude saw my truck parked and walked basically right up to me. I got pissed told him he has 1 minute before things get ugly and that he better have told someone where he went because he might not make it back. He had a nice walk of shame back to his rig. Bitching the whole way there. It's like people go out to cause drama and step on people's toes. I mean if your bank fishing and polite then I get getting close to people but seriously if your in a boat in that big of area both boats should be far enough away to not get lines tangled. And the person there first has every right to tell the other guy to kick rocks or end up spitting out teeth.
