Sam, the first new Metro train entered service today and the new Northumberland Line , run by Northern Rail started on Dunday .. so it's all happening up here in the North East. Told you .. Newcastle is the best place to live 😀
Brilliant video Sam, the Deansgate corridoor is so congested, I feel it would be better quadroupled but I'm not sure that's happening anytime soon. A platforms 15 and 16 is something I wish were a thing too, 13 and 14 are too busy for my liking.
Thanks for watching Reuben. Definitely agree it should be quadrupled they should use money that they are spending down south on rail projects like the Deansgate corridor.
i did Manchester Oxford Road back in September & its a great station & recommended for those who dont want to do Piccadilly & its less busy than 13 & 14 at Piccadilly & sometimes when im up North & heading back to Preston i pefer to use Oxford Rd or even Deansgate as the tram stop is just outside Deansgate station & i last did Deansgate last year & thats also good for those who dont want to do Picc & i did Patricroft also back in sept & i was also lucky to get some diverts as the line from Wigan to Salford via Swinton & Wigan to bolton lines were closed so some trains diverted via the WCML & via Patrcroft but only once an hour & best advise for Patricroft have RTT handy as the view on one side isnt great anyway brilliant vlog

Thanks for watching Michael. I liked doing these set of stations especially when you have some diverts as well. Glad you enjoyed watching.
3:40 is typical of Manchester
I’ve seen it happen in Crewe station too some people just never learn or have manners.
It does sound like a busy station, don't know if I would want to live in the building next to it
Most of the buildings are modern so have sound proofing I stayed in a hotel in the area a few years ago and couldn’t hear anything.
Hey Sam.
Hey 👋
does sound like its a busy line
It definitely is.
Having 2 car tfw trains running that stretch is just a waste of capacity.
I agree and they are not much better besides the facilities of the trains that they are replacing.
