    So, Marco killed his wife and daughter, disposed of their bodies in such a manor that they were never able to be found, rode a bicycle to a bridge, dragged concrete blocks to a staging point, ratchet strapped himself to these concrete blocks and then somehow wiggled his way off the bridge in a half hour total?🧐A couple days later people see him FLOATING in the water and they determine he committed suicide? Then they only search for the Mom and Daughter for like a week? This stories got some holes in it...

    The German law not permitting investigations into crimes committed by deceased persons is ridiculous. That would mean terrorist attacks would cease to be investigated once the perpetrator is taken out of the equation.. or takes themselves out. I can see those planning such crimes planning to commit suicide SPECIFICALLY to avoid their actions and/or their families and friends subsequently being questioned. Short sighted law, indeed!

      Well he could have made decisions gradually maybe the wife threatened to leave because of his drinking and there was an argument and he killed her and the girl just in a momentary freak out or angry she wanted to leave and he went to effort to hide evidence was planning to claim they were missing like some husbands do in that situation then he either realized he wouldn't get away with it or he felt too depressed and guilty to lie anyway so just decided to kill himself too.

    This case likely points to a murder suicide the fact that Marco was found in the river with his feet tied down with blocks certainly bears that out because that's what those who intentionally drown themselves often do to prevent their natural urge to surface.

    I've been following this case. There's a podcast with the point of view of the eldest daughter (in German). I was in Germany at the time, it was in the media a lot, a big mystery. There is also another farm Mirco had access to, he might have buried them there. Also, the lake was apparently not searched well enough. The most puzzling thing is that he only had a few hours to get rid of the bodies so well that they haven't been found.

    I was struck by the fact that Marcos hesitated about going to the stables and then went in and mucked a horse stall and then put the garbage in bins and left while driving his wife's car. Could Meriums and Sylvies bodies have been placed in the bins covered with what he cleaned out of the stall. He abandoned his bike and took Sylvies bike threw it into the river so it looked like Sylvie and Merium drowned in the river. They probably died in the pond and then he put their bodies in the bins and left to kill himself. I wonder!

  • @MdnightWnd
    @MdnightWnd 2 роки тому +23

    This one is interesting - and I'm not completely convinced it was a murder/suicide. If it is though, I feel like they are looking in the wrong place for bodies. I just don't think this guy was able to kill and dispose of both bodies in such a short time when they were at the pond together. I think if he did anything with them, it was when he was taking out the trash and going driving in his wife's car.

    It's also possible that Sylvia killed Marco, witness the ratchet straps on her bicycle. Then Sylvia and Miriam disappeared deliberately. A possibility that were the case investigated, should've been explored; rather than just assuming "Marco did it." I agree that is most likely, with Marco burying them in an obscure and disguised spot. Any history of special training experience on his part? Computer and phone search history?

    At first, this reminded me of other cases where families or couples have tried to "disappear" after a major disgrace. In some cases, that has meant suicide, but in other cases, it's simply meant running away. Whichever course of action Marcus wanted his family to take, somehow my impression is that they didn't want to do it, or they changed their minds. If he killed them, it was probably in response to this "backing out."

      In most of such family cases, women kill abusive husbands after a very long time of torture, wanting to put an end to it, seeing no other chance to escape. Men instead ( and this happens much more often) killing their families in fear of losing them by different reasons as divorce, financial problems ect…From what is said in the video - it seems more likely that he could had murdered them, probably due to a panic reaction, but without solid evidence it is hard to say.

There is a lot more to this story that is unknown and normally I would presume the wife and daughter murdered but in this case I hesitate to reach that conclusion.
