Thanks to Director Rajamouli for showcasing the kind act of Baahubali, who willingly sheds his blood instead of a poor helpless Animals. The scene beautifully depicts both Good & Evil....
In simple words, Animals are sacrificed only by Villans & Heros prefer to save them....

This is the scene that made Baahubali one of the most badass men in fiction. Hell yeah I'd follow him into battle. Not so much his uncle lol

The only thing is in the sequel Baahubali sets fire to cattle’s’ horns, wipes out a herd of boars and accepts the gift of a tiger skin from one of his friends, so he’s a bit of a hypocrite. XD

In ancient india, it was believed that before any good work you have to offered life of an animal to happy goddess. In this scene, bahubali denied animal cutting, told if goddess need blood then why of an innocent animal. I will offer my running blood.
