His first performance was the one who made him world champion 2018. Still mindblowing. I don't know any tricks, so I get 0% of what and how he is doing. It is an absolutely top notch illusion.
Talent doesn't matter in this show anymore. All you need to get the golden buzzer is to have a sad backstory to tell the judges. Eric's audition was definitely worth a golden buzzer.
He shoulda saved his 1st performance till the end. Some of these competitors make the mistake of overdoing it to advance and then disappointing the judges (mainly simon) with later ones.
I totally agree with you you can get four yes pretty easily if you know you have the skill just do the amount of wow that will get you 4 yeses then use much more i don't know better acts cause judges love when they see development
@@Infurnace6699 uhm he actually had. He had the 3 first acts in mind and then already planned out his original semi final act for a very long time. But due some "technical issues" he couldnt perform it, so he came up with what actually he did, but in just THREE DAYS! I mean cmon, how would you come up with a whole act in 3 days! And he planned out his final act, which would have been a HUGE show, as he told us, for like half a year. Really sad for him.
His first perfomance was worth golden buzzer it was one of the best auditions ever but when you put the ladder that high in the beggining you have to have bigger things coming up next...but it was just a shame that they didnt push the golden buzzer on his first audition
Yeah, it’s like he started off the best magic performance in agt history and just slowly got worse, I think his first audition should have been a golden buzzer.
He should his award winning act for the final. The AGT producers knew about his award winning act before they brought him in and would have wanted him to perform it at some point
Eric Chien has his own unique style of magic. He is equal to the magic of Shin Lim. The share the top stop equally. Both are #1. A pleasure to watch. Never get tired of watching them.
This is a signature act for him and it's always a big mistake to do it first. Same thing happened to steven brundage. The reason shin lim was so successful was because he refused to do his signature act until later in the comp even though the producers were pressuring him to do it from day 1
I read that he invented last trick in 3 days, because with his original planned trick he has some problems. Thats why his last trick has compromise like camera trick. Judges and audience saw everything but they know why is it done. Its sad that he dont have a chance to pull his master trick.
I feel like yu Hojin is smoother and more elegant... shim lim is master of cards... Eric is a all rounder he is good with cards, coins , cubes and illusions... These 3 legends are special in their own Way....They can't be compared to each other....They are all at same yet different levels... But at the same time....These 3 are one of the best magicians ever..
The felt on the table has pockets from where he can pull and hide cards or coins. That is why the material has that chaos pattern and random reflective fibers. The coins appear after one of his hands goes beneath the table. But the skill to make it look so smooth is huge
Of course? Do you believe in real magic? Magic is mostly based on sleight of hand. But making is so fast that 97% of people won’t spot what he is actually doing
In the last performance of eric, the timing of the camera man doing zoom on eric when he takes out the statue of liberty out of the picture we are missing the manifestation of the plain below becoming real from the postcards... ??
Box lid at 4:10 is visibly flat as he inserts coins, and his right thumb is holding interior of lid with a lot of pressure.. then its pretty obvious the taps and shakes release a false bottom because the depth is inaccurate compared to the dimensions and the bottom of the lid now has something poking/ exuding from it 4:27 .. thumb placement on the lid the whole portion of the trick stands out to me.. they zoom in at different angles when the coins are placed in the box, but conveniently don't zoom back in when it's emptied... my theory is there's a false bottom and lid magnet/ second lid goin on
Several people suggest watching at .25x speed to see the tricks. If you have to watch at .25x speed to see them, which is completely unnatural, then it seems to me, he's pretty damn good.
this is 10x golden buzzer wtf hes like shin lim LOL I mean shin i always my fav so I dont wanna say that but his tricks are even better then shins, I mean its unreal. But Shins "show" performence all everything around is cooler.. LOVED IT !
@@raulramos8326 he slips it in after he shows you the empty cup if you watch closely, I'm not refuting the artist i think he's a great magician but you just can't be messing things up like that especially not on agt
He throws the mixed cubes onto a tray at the back of the table. Thats the main tool on his table. That tray holds everythin for him. Hes to sloppy. His first act was great. Went downhill after that
Not acting like Im a magic buster or something, just an observation. At 2:37 the card dissapears then he laps something you can't see. I saw shin lim do the same thing, he lapped something that wasn't there. I think the felt they perform on has something to do with some of the tricks
See very closely in the begining itself......his taking blue card from lower side of deck......his finger position differ at the card placing time to both part......😄😄😄😄
The judges were leaning forward and smiling like children. They were riveted. That is a compliment.
That first appearance is one of the most amazing magician performances I’ve ever seen
He's definitely up there with Shin Lim! One of the top notch magicians performances for sure!
better i'd say, cuz he won fism grand prize

Eric Chien is amazing. His hands never leave his arms.
Lol
I mean yeah you're not wrong 😂
😂😂😂
Watch how many times he puts his hands under table to switch things....
SHIN LIM IS UNBEATABLE !
😂 I can do that
Legend says Eric Chien is a true WIZARD!

Hes from Black Clover
When Simon stands up you know you have done beyond excellent
This is the first act that had me believing in actual magic. The way he looks surprised at how it's happening makes this perfect.

The best magician is Eric chien & Shin lim both super duper fantastic.. 😍😍👍👍
wow eric chien makes everything dissapear and change in front of our eyes wwwooooowwww
Pretty damn cool... A lot of times you can see slight of hand if you look hard enough but he is really really good at it...👍👍👍
Extraordinary ! I can't find any other words.
Imagine if Eric Chen and Shin Lim could perform together. That would be the greatest illusionist show on earth

me: HOW THE HECK DID HE DRAW THAT PERFECT CIRCLE ⭕️?
The 1st illusion was the best I've ever seen. This guy is incredible.
De lo mejor que he visto en vida! Increíble!
If you watch this at 0.25× speed. You will realize that video takes longer time to finish.
I've seen something like this before
*you don’t say?*
Thanks for the tips, you saved my life
yes, and If you watch at 2× speed... The video will be more faster to finish.
lmao
these are some of the most creative magics i have ever seen, if he improves a bit on his audience engagement skill then it would be impeccable
Dol you are amazing 😍😍😍
I like Shin Lim but I love Eric Chien!!.. He should be the winner!!
Chin Lim and Eric is the best magician so far
The moment when his clothe turn into black, incredible
Yeah i like that moment to
Shin Lim.. lol

8:55 he took another cube on the right side of the table. (His left)
Makes sense
Still, it tricks people, that's what all of his performances are about you disabled jellyfish.
It’s called slight of hand bro
No one gonna talk about the little solved cube falling out of the tube before he properly grabbed the unsolved one? Lol @9:25
That was planned mistake. Because of that audience see that is trick but real trick is that its real magic. 😁
Saw it. He messed up. The woman saw it too.

もう何も信じられないよ
He's a great magician but he did whole same things that he already did in Asian Got Talent, and he's also a Winner of it 2019.
He likely figured that people who watch America’s Got Talent can’t also watch Asia’s Got Talent, so he’s really bringing the magic to a new audience

thats the trick most of the magicians use, they slide the card from top to extreme bottom or from bottom to top.

The secret to the trick is that if you slow it down to 50% of normal speed, it takes 2x longer to watch the whole thing
Wow!

With such skill he could bankrupt a casino. He could win poker so easily

Me gusta mucho su magia.
Guys, at 9:25, play the video at the speed of 0.25x and you all can see 4 cubes. He just messed up and somehow just managed to get through
Let's Talk Simon
My brain exploded
